This short Qigong sequence is a combination of a few practices Tao Yin Qigong and Qigong body tapping technique. The movements are designed to aid blood circulation in the upper back and release muscle tension from the neck and shoulders so we feel good and relaxed.     I have always been fairly inflexible with poor posture. I have tried other exercises and techniques to no avail. This simple video relaxed those tight places well and I will be returning to it. It is also wonderful self-care in a time when the human touch we all need is severely limited or nonexistent. Thank you!

    Hi, Kseny, just a plug: these are great. I am an acupuncturist and have been practicing Qi Gong and taijichuan for over 20 years. I have been recommending your videos to my patients. "FINALLY!     I have neck and shoulder pain, so I am keen to learn what Qigong could do to help. But no way could I get my hands high enough to tap the back of my neck as directed here. A pity.

    Hi John, many thanks for your feedback and well done for overcoming cancer. I can’t think of any specific exercises, if your doctor says it’s ok for you to do Qigong try a few sessions and see how you feel. Qigong is a great tool to maintain health and gain strength. All the best,

    I had a hard fall yesterday, losing my balance and falling backwards, and much of my body is sore, including a mild whiplash. I'm suspecting that a short exercice like this is good for me?

    Hi Beatrice, I'm so sorry to hear about the incident. It really depends, I was reading a book by Thick Nhat Hanh the other day, and he gave a good example. He said 'when an animal is wounded, they go to a quiet place and rest sometimes days and weeks'. Rest is the best form of energy preservation and self-healing. If you feel like you need to move, do a spinal wave or very gentle flowing tai chi. I wish you a steady recovery! Be safe!

    it's just practice. Keep your breath natural, without changing it to much to begin with. Focus on just hearing your breath

    You do not do so hysterically fast. No release in fast swift movement
