Kowloon is another one. Kowloon is a corruption of GauLong which means nine dragons. There are eight hills each one representing a dragon - the ninth (and hence the name) comes from the Emperor, who is also a dragon in mythology, made up the extra one

In Oslo you have Nordmarka, østmarka, vestmarka, ekebergsletta and more, just look at Oslo, there are plenty of mountains of hills and mountains around it, the whole ring 3 is generally higher elevated than the city so you look down at the city as you drive around it. Ergo Hilly.

You should also check out the QI Elves when they tour. If you didn't know, they have a weekly podcast called No Such Thing As A Fish, and they've recently finished the UK leg of their tour, with the European leg soon to start. They record a live podacst in the second half of the show and they first half is more akin to stand-up, but playing to their individual strengths (I've still got the Baby Shark song stuck in my head thanks to James Harkin's version of it!)

It really is, I was in the audience a few weeks ago for a recording of the Q series. They do loads of audience bits beforehand, and of course, there are about 2 hours of filming so you see a lot more than the TV episode shows. I was in stitches for the whole 2 hours, bloody brilliant time.

It is fun. But be prepared to queue up for at least two hours to be let in, and there's no guarantee of getting in so if you arrive less than two hours before doors open you'll be at the end of a very long line and might not get in. But it if free. Each show takes at least two hours to record because they shoot a lot of stuff that hey then edit down, and at the end they usually retake a few odd lines where the sound was bad or whatever. And by the time it is broadcast it is months later and so you've forgotten almost all the stuff they said. Another good show to go to a recording is the radio show The Unbelievable Truth, where each panelist has to give a lecture on a subject that is completely made up apart from five true facts, and the other guests have to spot them. When Stephen announced that he was leaving QI I thought that nobody would be anywhere near as good as him and this show would turn to shit. How wrong was I? Sandi Toksvig is the perfect host. Nobody can be better than Stephen but she is most definitely equally as good.

She is great at this, I understand why Stephen commanded a higher price but wish it weren't so... But more importantly I think Stephen needs to appear as a guest.

Claudia’s reaction to the first “Put your wine away!” Is my favorite thing.

Stephen was more cheeky but Sandi is more sassy, I love both equally for their own uniqueness and intelligence

Sandi was a refreshing change to panel interactions. And in effect it was just a simple switch- Stephen was easy to bully and turns in a gentlemanly puppy, but Sandi bites back

I love Sandi so much. She honestly reminds me of my mum’s friends in the way she acts. It’s bloody hilarious. Filling Stephen Fry’s shoes is hard but she’s done an absolutely brilliant job and she’s made the show even better in my opinion

Sandi should definitely be paid the same as Fry, for she is a true rarity. You couldn't get anyone more perfect for QI. Fry and Sandi were carved from the same tree.

They just look like they're having such a good time! I love seeing people just letting loose and having a laugh!

Sandi was like David Mitchell. She was a smart person who grew up a little out of touch with normal life due to her education and experience. If you watch her early appearances she was very strangely dressed, and a little repressed. Not experienced with such shows, being in front of people, but very smart and educated. As time passed, just like David, she really blossomed on these shows with being in front of people and her personality opened up into a very likable person. Grew into a well liked host and guest just like David. Funny, smart, and now finally, great with people.

It's not often I wheeze with laughter and have trouble breathing from something on KZread, but Sandy versus Bill gets me everytime...

i absolutely love it when Bill says: Ehh Bill, put your Wine away and Shut the fuck up! - i roared with laughter for ages hahaha

OMG the revenge against Rhod was priceless!!! :) Love you Sandy! Truly a fitting replacement toe to toe with Stephen. I will not suggest one better than the other as I love you both and will not dishonor the position of QI Jedi as you are both, IMHO, equally deserving of the title. HUZZAH!

This episode about the hills and the episode about the wind had me laughing so much it hurt and watching again has me in tears I can't catch my breath. Just magic.

I just about wet myself!! Of all the British panel shows, QI is the best and the funniest! Watching this is just a purely joyous experience!

LOL! The best (worst?) possible combination for winding up either Sandi or Stephen is Alan Davies and Bill Bailey. Those two together are comedy gold the way they play off each other.

I love how there was a two year build up to give Rob the periscope that's always dark and Rob just deflects the revenge with one joke.

I would say Rhod was winding up Alan more than he was Sandi.

When Stephen left QI I thought how could anybody possibly follow that, but Sandi is absolutely chuffin' brilliant.

Thank goodness I have found QI. Funniest damn thing ever!! My husband works in a large hospital. I play one of these segments for him every night when he gets home from work. Never fails to make him laugh. Thanks to all!!

I've watched this compilation about 5 times now. Never gets old.

I never heard of the show before and I just came across this video scrolling KZread at 12:38 AM July 6, 2021. Thank you thank you thank you. 🤣 I laughed so hard I have tears in my eyes. I laughed out loud, in my apartment alone. I can’t think of when I laughed that hard for that long…. 🤔before my husband passed away six years ago. I really needed that laughter, and the endorphins. Thank you thank you thank you. 💟

Oh, I do love QI. I loved it with Stephen as host and rarely missed an episode and Sandi managed to step right in and take it up seamlessly. This compilation was just hilarious.

Dubuque, Iowa is hilly. It has a funicular railroad. It was built by a business man in the 1890s whose house was on a Mississippi river bluff. It was built to reduce travel time as he liked to take a nap after lunch.

Given that Greenland is technically part of Denmark...it is true that they have very short days in winter in Denmark

Sandi has made this her own. Never thought anyone could replace Mr Fry, but I have been wonderfully surprised!

Sandi was the only one who could replace Stephen, and to be honest, I like her better in some ways. She’s always on my dream dinner party guest list!

Dunno, it had to be quite interesting, after all. If they said that Amsterdam was hilly and it turned out to be corrected, that'd probably be quite interesting!

I have found since Sandi has taken over as host, the panel gets up to more silly things and laughs more amongst themselves. Might not be the case, but that's what it feels like.

Wow! The humor and the intelligence of this show is amazing. Even after all these years, it is still so much fun to watch!! My best recollection was when Stephen was asked why did it only take a rubber band to defeat an alligator, or a punch in the face to stop a shark...and Stephen replied, "Because there are no rubber band birds in the swamps and there are no face-punching fish in the sea.
