Walikum Alsalam I always had a hope for visiting south America and meet our brothers and sisters and tell them that we care and one day everything is gonna be alright. If a south American team is playing against a European or an Arab country although I'm an Arab (Muslim myself but deep in my heart I keep cheering for the south American people and my friends are astonished by this and when they ask why? Other religions have always existed in Muslim lands and it is against our religion to keep people like Jews and Christians from worshipping and keeping their churches open for worship (unlike here in the states where they shut down every religious institution due to COVID but left the strip clubs open). It depends on the "Mulsim" country you are taking about but yes you can worship but you cannot preach. They don't allow for propagation of falsehood the same way we don't higher math teachers that claim 2+2= anything other than 4. They know they have the absolute truth and allowing falsehood to be preached is not an option. Again, it depends on the country. The west is a democracy with the freedom to preach any religion. Not to say that it is christians that allowed this, but rather secular governments. In regards to non muslims in Muslim lands, they can worship freely with it being against Islam to tear down any place of worship. The Quran state "There is no compulsion in religion". The prophet PBUH says who ever harms a themi (a non muslim under the muslim rule/protection) has harmed me. When the Muslims took Jerusalem the Caliph Omar wouldn't accept the invite from the Christian leader to pray in the church with him (each in their own way) because he said what ever place I pray at first, the people would turn into a Mosque, and he didn't want the church to be taken away. You know which church that was? The church of the holy sepulchre. Also, if someone leaves Islam, they are not killed. It is the ones that leave and start to spread lies and smears against Islam in a major public way that can be tried and convicted. As for the punishment, thats for the scholars to decide. BTW: Matthew 7:1-5 King James Version (KJV) Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.. The west has a ridiculous amount of problems with godlessness. Maybe we should focus on ourselves first before we go telling others what to do. Just a thought.

You can call out a government for its misdeeds but don't conflate governments and some Muslims with Islam. They are not one and the same. I am muslim and have some french white friend.they are calculator.when i bring them to restauratant i pay the full bill when we go with them we have to share the bill. Our islam culture are very different with yours.we are always welcoming helping everyone we know or not. Peace
