Morocco, how many languages do you speak?

I ask strangers in Tangier, Morocco many languages they speak. Tangier is the most Northern city in Morocco and a fascinating mix of cultures and languages.

I had to meet many people from Marocco there and let me tell you, every moroccan spoke at least 5 languages, they are the nicest people and got invited into their homes several times and feel their hospitality and amazing food. For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. You see, we all have sinned, and have broken God’s law (The Ten Commandments). Wrong doing deserves justice and must be punished (just like how a criminal has to pay for the crime they have committed) but God saved us from the eternal punishment of our sins by sending His Son Jesus Christ, fullness of God in flesh, to pay the penalty for us by dying on the cross and resurrecting, so that we may have everlasting life. Now for you to accept the free gift of grace, you must repent of your sins and put your faith in Jesus Christ and Bible says that His Blood will cover all of your sins, you will be forgiven, saved from eternal punishment, and be given everlasting life. By faith you will receive the Holy Spirit, become born again, know Jesus personally and He will transform your heart and clean you from the inside out. Turn away from sin, read the Bible, pray for the Holy Spirit to fill you and change you, obey the Word. Much love and God bless you!

I don't understand why this man in the video can't find a job despite his age, he's so skilled grrrr it's so frustrating. I had such a wonderful time when I visited Morocco back in 2015. I was studying abroad, went backpacking with a friend from France to Morocco. We visited Tangier and Chefchaouen and the people were so kind, accommodating, and just curious and fascinated by where we were from. As an Asian-American, I find it funny when people would say "ni hao" and "yokoso", and I'm neither Chinese or Japanese. I just find it funny but I know they were just trying to be welcoming, so no harm nor offense from that 😅. In general, I think Moroccans are some of the nicest people! ❤️

@@Fercasle Sure! But I've travelled to more than 20 countries, varying from a week to two weeks, and even 1-2 months. And you can already tell how "welcoming" the people are even with a quick stay of even a week. 1 week is usually my shortest stay in a city/country. Imo, most people are quite kind, but certain cultures have more barriers to strangers. And other cultures, people easily warm up even if you've never met them in the past. So far, Filipinos, Mexican, Spaniards, Moroccans, Thais, and surprisingly, the Dutch are some of the "warmest", in a way where people talk and treat you like they're actually willing to help you or are more open and accommodating. As opposed to French, Japanese, and Belgian, which dont easily warm up to you, but are still very kind and helpful, and often go out of their way to help you, like directions, or how to do certain things like buy a Metro ticket, order food, etc. There's no right or wrong, good or bad, just simply different cultures, different ways to interact with strangers 😉 I also don't really buy "souvenirs" and go to tourist traps cause those places usually stress me out, sell corny and gaudy items, and are very overpriced. Also, I hate haggling so I stay away from such situations. So if you're thinking, "well he must be where the touristy spots are so yeah, the locals are gonna be nice cause they're selling overpriced items". No, that's not the case. The moment I get off the train station or airport, or leave the hotel room, I go to an area with a nice cafe, and when I see locals just sitting and resting, I just come up and ask what their fav place to eat or hang out. Most of the time, people are just so chill and chatty, and their recommendations have been great. Then that's also how I get to see the not so touristy spots and get to chat up with the locals. Also nice to go out for drinks, and when people are kinda buzzed or drunk, they're so chatty and you get into some really fun and interesting conversations lol

Through my experience with Moroccans. I think this person was from the former Special Forces or the Intelligence. They have global intelligence in the top three places in the world, so they are very flexible in switching from one language to another without any errors and with different dialects. A Moroccan shocked me one day when a Jew spoke to him, and he spoke to him in Hebrew fluently. Even the Jew was shocked by his mastery of the dialect. He spoke to me in Portuguese and with a colleague at work in Spanish, and with clients in French, English, Arabic, and Chinese as well. They are really strange people and they have a great history. There is a secret in this country. So I strongly agree that you should shoot more videos.😊

As a moroccan, learning languages is engraved in our souls & brains from the moment we are toddlers I can speak 8 languages: arabic, darija and soussi amazighi as native languages, french, english, spanish & japanese fluently, & a little bit of russian Besides the fact that it warms my heart the fact that the new generation focuses on learning english more than french, nothing against french, but professional career speaking the language kinda niches yougsters' opportunities ❤️🇲🇦
