Well done Davo, God bless you for your honesty, you should be a journalist and real one who speaks his mind, brings facts to the people around the world, but not like The BBC and other fake news outlets who only serve the 💵🤑, keep up the good work Davo, maybe think about doing big production documentary showing the lights on all this countries, and their traditions, cultures and a way of life. ❤️👍

@@connorlewis1150 Yes very sad obviously. Just to put things in perspective, an awful lot more British citizens died during covid pandemic due to British government's wrong decisions. Even now old folks are dying of hunger and cold. Nurses whom possibly saved my life, yours and millions of others, are having to turn to food banks to feed themselves and their family. And our current nasty government are not only the cause of all this but they really don't give a flying f**k about what's happening to our society so long as they can line up their own pockets. Make no mistake about it we currently have some the most corrupt politicians in the world governing us. I can go on and on, but my point is, we are currently in no position to lecture any other nations about moral standards. Lets get our own house in order first ok?

As an expat Brit who move to the Gulf 14 years ago but has lived in Qatar for 12 years, I am delighted you have found out what I found out all those years ago when I came here. Qatar, in particular, has been disrespected by the west and the British press for years and the lies promoted are shameful. Excellent video showing the reality of what is now my home.

As an Armenian girl here in Qatar for the WC games, I can 100% attest to this truthful video. The locals here are absolutely warm and welcoming, and don't see divides with culture or faith. They truly treat you not even like a guest but as family. I have seen this in other Arab regions, including Egypt, and thankfully, this general hospitality and warmth is also a part of our cultures in other parts of the Middle East and Eurasia, including my own country of Armenia. The hospitality is so contagious, and many diverse cultures living here, including other Arabs and Africans have also shown so much graciousness and kindness. I salute Qataris for doing a phenomenal job in welcoming people from all over the world so lovingly. Thank you, Davo, for shedding light on truth, exposing dirty media (not just in the UK but also in the U.S. and other Western countries) and showing us what human decency means. May we all learn to love and respect everyone from different walks of life 🙏🏻

Having lived and worked in the UAE and Oman as an expat for several years, I can tell you that from my experience, the Arabs are some of the most generous people in the world. I've worked pretty much all over the world, but I never experienced such hospitality and kindness as I received from the Arabs in the UAE and Oman. I would constantly be invited by the locals to eat at their houses when I was there. I'd been given several free tours of places by locals, who drove me around, just so that I could see the different interesting places in their countries. I was also given gifts on many occasions and their general generosity, is nothing that I witnessed anywhere else in the world. Even the poorer Arabs would invite me to eat at their homes, that is how much generosity is engrained in their culture. Crime is also extremely low in the Gulf Arab countries, so you don't have to worry about theft or ever getting mugged, which is a common occurrence in European cities such as London, Madrid, Rome or Paris. Our British media has completely misrepresented Qatar and it's clear that they and other Western medias had some kind of agenda against Qatar. Great work Dave, for giving genuine and honest coverage of what the locals are like in that region.

Then you can do that for years and they would treat you no different. In fact, they look for you and take you fruits and sweets all the way to your home if they hear that you're sick or had difficulties in life. And then, when I hear the western media speak ill of muslims, I can't help but feel sad and disappointed at them for not witnessing such peace and friendliness...

Hospitality is the culture of the middle east. I've been to Iran 4x and I'm telling you, they're very hospitable people too. When they invite you and you come to their house, they say 'You're my brother/sister, and this house is your house" and they really mean it! You only need to show interest in something in the house, and they will insist you take it home. My son showed interest in a wooden chestboard, and the host wrapped it up and insist we take it. Unfortunately the world fears the Iranian people because the western media portray them as monsters. However i'm surprised Qatar homes are unlocked and people can just walk in! Their transparent glass doors mean anyone can look inside! I hope to visit Qatar one day!

Mate, this video is so wholesome! I'm not an Arab, but I spent most of my life in the Middle East. The Arab culture of hospitality is deeply linked to the Islamic traditions that teach Muslims to treat travelers with peace, love and kindness. In fact, in the Muslim tradition, the Prophet Muhammad is recorded to have said, "He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while his neighbor goes hungry.” And btw, it doesn't matter what country, background or religious belief the neighbor has... as long as we have a neighbor, this still applies. This is what Muslims have been trying to tell the world for decades! Of course like all humans, there will be bad apples everywhere, but as you said... the media just focuses on that (probably cause it sells better). Also resonated with what you said... we're all just humans, we eat, we sleep, we work... and we want to live a peaceful life. Thanks a lot for showing this side to the world, mate! God bless you!
