lil advice to anyone that will be doing caliper swaps, compress the brake pedal after caliper is off, it will build a vacuum on the brake fluid and whatever remains in the caliper/line is the only thing that will leak, just take the floorjack extension bar, and prop it against the seat, if you doing it alone

Those old stock calipers and brakes look exactly like my 2014 qx60. Your upgrade isn’t listed to fit. I wonder if it’s because behind the stock rear caliper, there isn’t a lot of room because of one of the suspension bars. Where you can’t even get the lower slider pin out. About how much thicker are these calipers from the back side of caliper to the back of rotor. I think there’s

Have you ever done a G35 with Q50 front end conversion? If not, are familiar with this conversion? Any info would help on what you think you’d need for that conversion, I’ve seen your 35 to 37 conversion. I just like the Q50 front front end, looks more like a Silvia or R34 to me.

Something I want to stress to you guys and to learn from my mistakes, DO NOT try to put the new banjo bolts onto the caliper with it on the car. You can and will strip out the threads of the caliper. Attach the banjo bolts very carefully onto the caliper on the bench as he did in this video. Make sure you can finger turn them too

@@itswellmade3616 it happend to me twice. One was minor and I was able to put an extra copper washer in order for it to not leak. The other one was too stripped and would leak no matter what so was basically a paper weight or something to use as a core charge

Aren't the rotors the other way around??? They are supposed to be cooled from the inside to outside and how you did put it at min 9:12 the air gets into the rotor diagonally so it cannot expel the air inside... EDIT: okay my bad the rotors have straight blades not curved ones

What brake fluid did you use??

Kinda dumb question but where do I find those custom Akebono calipers, I’ve looked and looked but I just see the regular ones

They just buy the spray paint and then buy the akebono stickers and that’s how they get them like that.. I believe Speed Culture studios did a video where he put a link for that exact paint color and the akebono stickers also
