You always post helpful videos, I was able to my hands on some use akebono caliber for a junk yard. Now plan was to rebuild them myself just to be on safe side. I never done something like this before but I have been seeing videos on how to do it. I wanted to get some input on if I should take them to a professional have them do it or save some money and do it myself

Yes, stainless lines and stop tech pads. Maybe your non sport brakes were in poor condition but I had stop tech pads and stainless lines with my non sports for awhile, which I’m sure was an improvement. So the move from that setup to these is minimal. And there’s testing data out there showing stopping distance improvement was negligible. Resistance to brake fade, however, is where the improvement is really made.
