Nice nice! I see you everywhere and just found your channel not too long ago! I’ve been studying Japanese intentionally for a month or two now after studying on and off for years. I now have the time to do so and want to travel to Japan in the next year or so. It’s always been a priority for me, but my mom forced me to take ONLY Spanish so I did so for 8 years, but then I left it in college and did a semester or year of Chinese (before I graduated). I also learned some sign language as a kid and learned a bit of Korean before I knew I’d be visiting with friends after college! It’s never too late! I’ll be 32 soon and repetition is key! I’ll DEFINITELY check out Mochi Mochi! I’ve been using Wani Kani to learn kanji and Busuu for grammar and vocab as well as a few fave KZread channels. Whoo! Congrats on your progress!

You have such dedication to it! That’s awesome, I have been trying to learn Spanish for the longest time. I want to now focus on getting more consistent with it too, you have proven it goes a long way! Not sure if I’ll get to that many hours of studying right off the bat but at least a little every day for me to start!

I downloaded the app. It's nice to have a nice app with Spaced repetition system on it. The illustration really motivates me to study.

I've tried many Kanji learning apps, but MochiMochi is by far the best. Highly recommended!^^

I can't believe how quickly I've progressed with Kanji thanks to MochiMochi. It's truly impressive!

I learn whole sentences saying them aloud. 5 days - 300 repetitions per day at least. Later I don't need to translate. I know the meaning of words straight away like in my native language. And also I remember the meaning longer than by learning separate words. This method is called: chunking. It was a real game changer in my learning process and communication skills in English and other languages.😊

I’m waiting for you being enough confident with your Japanese to see videos of you talking in japanese if you plan to do it! Progress is always progress even it’s not the way we thought about it! Can’t wait to know more about your spanish!

The best way to learn a new language is to take one hour a day say with Spanish and learn one sentence in that hour that either ask for something like Ex: “Where are the pickles?” and go to a Spanish supermarket and ask that one question and carefully listen to the employee’s response so you can take notes. And keep doing this and you’ll be fluent in Spanish in no time.

Ooo yikes I don’t think duolingo is a good idea. Unless it’s just for vocab and you already understand the grammar and stuff like that, but if u don’t have grammar and other things like that down then duolingo is NOT going to help you at all

Thanks Latoya! Kanji is one of the three writing systems in Japanese. I’ve learned the first two (katakana and hiragana) but kanji is thousands of characters that mean different things and can be pronounced differently too so it’s hard to tackle but I’m making good strides!
