As a single father to my daughter I have become far more inclined to listen to female scholars, their perspective and insight has been invaluable to understanding how to better prepare my young daughter for life. May Allah reward all of you from the scholars, to the organizers, to the listeners, to the one who uploaded it.

This was good. I have a genuine question though about the board in the background. It has the shape of the Prophets saw shoe but then it has the word God written on it. I don't understand why this is deemed acceptable. I have seen it elsewhere. Please can someone explain? Thank you

I am an older white lady married to a Muslim took my shahada my husband preaches constantly but manipulates it to his advantage isolates me from others by manipulation I live in a highly Yemeni Muslim area I try to reach out by complimenting or saying hello sometimes they smile and say thank you sometimes they look at me like trash roll eyes give dirty looks my heart is empty I crave knowledge and God I pray a woman of faith would help teach and guide me but they will not open up to me I have Quran my husband tells me forget them says nasty things and I only need God and Quran he twists so many things and thinks everyone is putting magic on him no matter who or where everyday he uses it to manipulate and control me he thinks he is Maharishi (if he sees this I’m in a lot of trouble)but I need help I want to do the right thing I wish another woman would help me teach me guide me and not shun me cuz I look different or can’t afford the clothes am I not good enough?
