Jazakum Allahu khayran for honoring me with the opportunity to share a discussion on supplication with you through AlBuruj Press during Sunday's session on The Power of Duaa!
There are countless duaas that the Prophet (peace be upon him) has taught us are forms of our prayers being accepted. Below, there are two I didn't get a chance to cover in the session that I mentioned will be sent out via AlBuruj's email.
In both of these narrations, a companion (may Allah be pleased with them) calls to Allah Most High by some of His Blessed Names and the Prophet (peace be upon him) affirmed that Allah would answer a duaa made by those Names. However, the Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam did not specify which one exactly. So call out by all of them!
When you make duaa, call to Him sincerely by any Name and He promises He will respond (as we discussed in detail with the nuance and conditions in the lecture)! One of the most important points of duaa is that it comes from the depths of your heart, so if it's from the duaa below or just you crying out, "Allah!" He hears and He responds.
As mentioned in the session, I highly recommend purchasing Reflecting on the Names of Allah by Jinan Yousef and reading each of His Names and understanding how they apply to your life. Her book includes a section in every chapter on how to apply the Blessed Names into your life.

. عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَالِسًا وَرَجُلٌ يُصَلِّي ثُمَّ دَعَا " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الْمَنَّانُ بَدِيعُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ " ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : لَقَدْ دَعَا اللَّهَ بِاسْمِهِ الْعَظِيمِ الَّذِي إِذَا دُعِيَ بِهِ أَجَابَ وَإِذَا سُئِلَ بِهِ أَعْطَى .
رواه الترمذي ( 3544 ) وأبو داود ( 1495 ) والنسائي ( 1300 ) وابن ماجه (
Narrated Anas ibn Malik (radi Allahu anhu):
I was sitting with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and a man was offering prayer. He then made supplication: O Allah, I ask Thee by virtue of the fact that praise is due to Thee, there is no deity but Thou, Who showest favour and beneficence, the Originator of the Heavens and the earth, O Lord of Majesty and Splendour, O Living One, O Eternal One.
The Prophet (ﷺ) then said: He has supplicated Allah using His Greatest Name, when supplicated by this name, He answers, and when asked by this name He gives.
Narrated in Abu Dawud and authenticated by Albaani

Transliteration:
Allahuma inni asaluka bi ana laka-lHamdu la ilaha illa Ant AlManaanu Badieu-samawati wal-ard ya Thal Jalali wal-Ikraam ya Hayyu ya Qayyum
Buraidah (radi Allahu anhu) narrated,
‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) heard a man saying:
‘O Allah! I ask you by virtue that I testify that you are Allah; there is no God but You, the one -· the Self Sufficient Master, Who did not beget, and was not begotten, and to whom no one is equal.’ Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) then said, “He has asked Allah by His Name by which when asked, He gives, and by which when supplicated, He answers.” Related by the four Imams and Ibn Hibban graded it as Sahih.
وَعَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: { سَمِعَ اَلنَّبِيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -رَجُلاً يَقُولُ: اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنِّي أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اَللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ, اَلْأَحَدُ اَلصَّمَدُ, اَلَّذِي لَمْ يَلِدْ, وَلَمْ يُولَدْ, وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ. فَقَالَ" لَقَدْ سَأَلَ اَللَّهُ بِاسْمِهِ اَلَّذِي إِذَا سُئِلَ بِهِ أَعْطَى, وَإِذَا دُعِيَ بِهِ أَجَابَ } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلْأَرْبَعَةُ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ حِبَّانَ . 1 .

Young Muslims should read books like Riyad-us-Saliheen (by An-nawawi), Fazail-e-Amal (Book on virtues), Hisnul Muslim (Dua book), Good books on Qur'an Tafsir & Translation (1 page a day) etc. in addition to reciting the Quran and doing Dhikr everyday. 🌼

(الآن انتهى الحديث) و عليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته و بارك الله لكم في دعاء مريم فبارك الله في أهلها و زوجها و الحمد لله رب العالمين ✋م🌴ح🕋م🌏د☝️🗣️🤲🏻 البربري بين بر المشرق و بر المغرب من آل عمران و ليس من آل الأعراب و لا من آل قريش و اعلموا أن السر بين محمد و مريم هو عيسى علينا الصلاة و السلام لتحقق معرفة النصارى عن عيسى ان خلقه الله من التراب كآدم عليه الصلاة و السلام و هكذا يتم الحق ان عيسى ليس ابن الله و لا ثالثهما بل ابن من اب و ام ككل البشرية فكلنا من التراب و إلى التراب نعود كلنا و قذ رفعه الله إليه لكي لا يؤدى معجزة من الله فشُبِه لهم و لم يعذبونه و الله عز و جل إذا أراد لشيء ان يكن يقول له كن فيكون و هناك آية قرآنية ربانية أنزلها الله على مريم و عيسى و لكم التطلع عليها إذا لم يستقيَموا باليوم الآخر مع عباده الصالحين و اتبعوا المشركين من النصارى كما اتبع ابن نوح و هو ابن امه حيث اتبع نصيحة امه لشدة الحب بينه و بينها فغرقا و لم يغرق نوح و أمته المسخرة فما بالكم إذا عاد التاريخ إلى مجراه و اتبع عيسى و أمه الضلال بالآخر لا سمح الله من الذي ينقدهم من العذاب غير الله عز و جل بعدما أن اتتهم البينات رحمة من الله للعالمين عبر الحسوب الذابة التي تحدث الناس أجمعين عبر مختلف اللغات فيأتيهم ندير و منهم من استغنى عن نداءه و هم الكثير فمنهم من اتبع النذير و منهم القليل ذالك القليل في الآخرين هم عباد الله الصالحين المخلصين لله في الذكر العظيم و الحمد لله رب العالمين فأقول ليست كل كمريم سيدة نساء العالمين و ليس كل محمد كمحمد المبعوث بحمد الله و الذي سماه الله محمد و لم يسميه أحدا من الناس و الناس ليست كمحمد على حمد الله فتقول الأعراب ماذا أراد الله بهذا فأجيبهم هذا اسمه محمد و لا محمد غيره من التراب فصلوا و سلموا على الحبيب المرسل إلى العالمين رحمة و بركة و سلاما من الله للعالمين أجمعين على مشارق الأرض و مغاربها و نحن على أبواب الساعة للآخرة اسمه محمد و شهادته رسول الله و نبيه و خليفته في الأرض إلى قيام الساعة و الحمد لله رب العالمين انتهى
