I have a question so inshallah I want to study medicine and out of all of the specialties, I can see myself working with adult patients. However, I heard that it's wrong to go into that field because there are other fields such as ob/gyn and pediatrics where I can safely practice as a Muslim woman without dealing with men. Should I suck it up and go towards those fields though I dislike it or do medicine a field where I feel like I am equally needed?

Let nothing sacrifice your dheen. 🫶 Allah SWT will give you something greater. I recently left a job that hurt my eeman and I feel so much better. You're better off doing what is truly best for your akhirah rather than carrying the seed of discomfort and doubt and taking sins... Trust me! ❤️ Good luck no matter what, sister.

Nothing is wrong with dealing men as long as you keep it professional and appropriate. The Male and Female Sahabas used to interact with each other even at work, so why do you think it's wrong to interact with others when you are trying to save lives?

@@audrey7650 The issue comes when people without knowledge and scholarly degree say that women shouldn't work in an environment where theres males when Islam didn't prohibit it. If she does not want to work in an environment because there are males, it's her choice. And thanks for the advice, May Allah guide me.

Please be advised that women can teach women. Women can teach men behind a curtain. Proof is the matter of Mahram. Also you claim that Aisha needed to be behind the curtain because she was not in hijab, well saying something doesn't make it right. She did it dispite of the mahram issue. Because she is the mother of the beleivers. But even than she never gave a public lecture or lesson. And even if she did something, you are not like her. O wives of the Prophet! You are not like any other women. If you keep your duty (to Allaah), then be not soft in speech, lest he in whose heart is a disease (of hypocrisy, or evil desire for adultery) should be moved with desire, but speak in an honourable manner” [al-Ahzaab 33:32] Women can be seen in public. Why is that an evidence for you? Women can be scholars. They can teach men but only behind a curtain. Try to understand. Men and women mixing is not allowed. All muslims know this.

Title “Can women in hijab give dawah online” Answer includes “women at home don’t have to wear hijab the men have to speak to them from behind a veil” Do you know which are the rows during salah that are considered the worst? Last row of men and first row of women, care to do your research but yes only if you be true to yourself will it benefit you. Inshallah we will be guided to the straight path and the path of those whom allah loves and we be protected from deceiving ourselves. Content like this usually have comment like “If hadrat Ayesha is born on this era, our society would not let her teach. Period.” She was born in the time when Muslims were facing the worst enemies of Islam. Some of this type of women glorify kaffirs and slander Muslims. Careful you are only deceiving yourself. Period.

Why doesn’t anyone ever talk about Ibn kathir saying hijab is recommended. And ibn ashour says hair isn’t awrah. People make hijab a big deal let alone a woman giving a lecture online with hijab. Online is not the same as in person. I would argue in person is a little more difficult and a danger to the woman. Online they can just see u that’s all.

@@mochanotmacha2317 the one from Ibn kathirs comment is in his commentary do they quran. I cannot pull that up right now, but if you search dr.shabir ally and see his video about hijab, he also references that comment of Ibn kathir. Ibn ashour has his comments in his texts, they both have their own thing. But I researched this stuff and found these famous scholars and was surprised to see their view on hijab, as all I saw were if a woman was allowed to even show her hands from other scholars.
