I too agree that it’s not the people of these countries that is the problem, it’s these power hungry leaders that don’t really care about the people. Who ever wrote that speech is amazing. Putin has clearly lost it and has nothing to lose, he's gotten fat and old, he has to go.

In the 80's and 90's I hitch hiked around the UK, Europe and North America. I never felt unsafe, I always met some amazing people, whom I'm still friends with today. I definitely wouldn't feel safe travelling around the world by thumb these days, there's just too many idiots out there......

I’m 54 and lived through the Cold War. I remember they used to practice the siren of an imminent nuclear attack. At 11 I had panic attacks, it really is terrifying. I can’t believe we are back in this place again.

How is it that the rest of the world including me expect the Americans to be the world's policemen and yes there are times they screw up but they are human too. If they ever decide to become isolationists again the world will be a worse place to be living in and I am not an American.
