Sentences for statutory minimum firearms charges range from a minimum of 5 years up to 8 years whilst non-statutory ranges from a non-custodial up to 3 years. Now, if he has shot someone, then it would have been attempted murder.

You got any idea what stalking does to a person, my mates sister had a stalker 10 years ago, she went to hell and back, he even entered her house at night when she was in bed and sent her photos the next day of her asleep in bed, 10 years later he’s out of prison a free man and she’s still terrified to be alone. There's never been an 'automatic 10 years for gun possession' so I can only assumed you dreamt it or read it in a EDL leaflet (and was gullible enough to believe it). Maybe you once read about someone getting 10 years for possessing an automatic and got a little confused? It's an easy enough mistake (for someone with a very poor level of education).

Yes, a disabled woman got 3 years for telling off another woman cyclist on the pavement, and shoooing her away: she fell of her bike and was run over by a car. This woman should not even of been on the pavement on a bike, yet they jailed this disabled woman. But l have just heard on the BBC, that they have decided to release her. And therin is the problem with British justice: this 'person' sprays bullets everywhere, oblivious to people nearby, including a young lady. And the courts see fit to jail him for a paltry 7 years. The reality is, it should be a minimum of 37 years, for 'people' who see fit to spray bullets in the street over trivia. That is one of the reasons crime is out of control, because our justice system is so weak. There was talk a few years ago, about voting for prisoners, that should be a no no for ANYONE in prison. Half a tin of: over sell by date cat food a day, and let them sleep on the bare floor with no bedding or heating, and no visits or phone calls untill their sentence is completed.

I would like to thank the black community of the UK for their wonderful contribution to the country. They are a prime example of father hood and being responsible to their children. They rarely indulge in narcotics and substance abuse. The crime rate is extremely low amongst their community. It is well known that they respect the laws of the country. Also whenever a large population of the black community move into an area, housing prices sky rocket and the affluence of that area increases! Why has the US got such a high violent crime rate then? Even their deaths through stabbings per capita are worse, where are all these heroes with guns? Restricting gun access doesn't prevent all gun crime, but nobody ever claimed that. If that was their goal, they would place an outright ban on guns in the UK. In reality, quite a lot of guns are legally owned in the UK still, it's just highly regulated. Can a criminal get hold of a firearm if they really want to? Sure, but they need to be prepared to make national news, and deal with trained armed police who will be carrying assault rifles and SMGs, instead of your average bobby with a baton. The problem is when guns can be picked up on a whim by any crazy person who's having a bad day, they can cause a whole lot more damage than they would otherwise.
