I feel bad about how long it took our democratic process in the USA to support Ukraine in its fight for life. I will caution you that in democracies and rule of law, we had to follow the process and make a case for the US to go into further debt for a key Western Country like Ukraine. I’m not happy with our process and we need to improve it. I do think from the Ukrainian standpoint possibly a little more gratitude and a little less criticism and media talking points would help your case for further aid. The EU can and should do more to secure Europe including Ukraine and as an ally we should do our part. God Bless the courageous citizens of democratic Ukraine and your tenacious and professional soldiers. Especially the “Finally the US has approved aid to Ukraine” comments from James makes him sound like a tool. The USA has provided 65-70% of all military aid for Ukraine and it is on Europes door step. The US right now has to borrow this money? If you want more aid so you don’t have to say finally, we used to share the expenses like in Gulf War 1 in 1990, we had cost sharing, Germany contributed billions to the US as did Japan, Korea, the Saudis, Kuwaitis, Emiratis and others for the cost of that conflict and many from the Middle East also contributed troops and weapons. Maybe Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Norway and the UK if they do not have the capacity to manufacture, you could cover 1/2 of the cost the US is providing to Ukraine? We always want to do our part in the USA towards peace and stability or in this case the defeat of Psychopathic Dwarf Putin, but the EU economy is as big as the US and this is on your door step. Stop criticizing your most loyal ally and dig in and do your part, or you encourage the election of an idiot like Trump to be our President, while you complain about him. Let’s work together and get it together!

As a Canadian, I agree with your criticisms. Even we here in Canada can be contributing even just a bit more to Ukraine to prevent the Russian expansion. I will also advise for Americans to accept the current criticisms they currently face. 6 months of no aid during an active war is a serious issue and one that dissolves confidence in having a stable ally. Like this Ukrainian said. From the onset of this war, Ukrainians had no doubt of American support for 1.5 years. That confidence has been reasonably shaken and it will simply take time to re-establish that confidence. If America can maintain a stable and consistent commitment to providing Ukrainian aid, your allies trust will ve restored in a very short time. Thought we lost you guys for a bit there, glad to see you back, now hopefully all of the combined aid will help Ukraine end this tyrant and his regime of death in the Kremlin.

While the delayed aid highlighted the unfortunate reality of weakened US and democratic values, it also served as a wake-up call for Europe. After World War II, Europe dismantled its defense complex, assuming that the US would always provide aid for economic reasons and national security. However, this overlooked the influence of propaganda from countries like Russia, China, and Iran, which exploit easily convincing talking points. For instance, many Americans argue against aid and taxes without considering that US global superpower status is primarily for security reasons, akin to putting money in a bank for safety. Europe’s economy, worth 16 trillion, relies on US exports totaling $592.0 billion, with defense weapons constituting a significant portion. However, as the US adopts an isolationist stance, it risks losing its status as a global superpower and the dominance of its currency. This shift would also impact Asia and the Middle East. The conflict in Ukraine threatens US global image and reliability, jeopardizing a combined GDP of 70 trillion between the US, Europe, and allies. This realization prompted Republicans to reconsider their stance. Trump understood his followers’ mindset, which is why he didn’t oppose the aid after it passed, recognizing its importance to US national security and future. But Trump also understands his base’s limited and obvious lack of being able to understand why the US holds its position as the first and only world superpower in recorded history. They think the US can be and will retain its status even if it stops being what made it so. This disconnect underscores a fundamental misunderstanding among some Americans about the intricacies of global power dynamics and the importance of maintaining the factors that contribute to US dominance on the world stage.

Cranking out war materiale. That's like taking money from one pocket and putting it in the other. That's not true growth. It's an accounting maneuver. Intended to make the Free World believe that the sanctions aren't working. It will result in the hollowing out of all other businesses. I hope people will remember these kind of videos, which are just straight up propaganda. Did Ukraine lack hardware and ammo when Russia pushed into Bakhmut and all the towns around it? Did Ukraine lack hardware and ammo when Russia stopped their largest counter offensive to date last year? No and no, in fact it was reported that during the counter offensive last year Ukraine caught up with Russia's artillery usage.. so did that change any sort of outcome? No. Ukraine's largest issue is experienced soldiers, manpower.. which was beyond evident the last few days in Ocheretyne when one group got demolished and decided to flee the meatgrinder. How will the inexperienced soldiers Ukraine just mobilized handle such situations when experienced units couldn't? It's just complete cope. So again, remember these videos because by the end of summer when the mobilized units are out on the field and the aid is in full swing.. nothing will change for Ukraine and then by the end of the year, Ukraine will come asking for more to "turn the tide".

This particular commentator seems somewhat ungrateful; but, the United States is a democracy, and as much as we don't like Congressional opposition, this is the nature of our political system. Russia has transitioned to a wartime economy, as such, it will always outgun the Ukraine Army. Should the U.S. and Europe also transition to Wartime Economies to match that of Russia? If so, should NATO commit ground troops to Ukraine?

That said as a European from a wealthy country, i can agree that Europe as a whole should step it's momentum bigtime to help support Ukraine with money. Luckely there finally seems to be some progress being made lately. We just can't let Putin win. You also have to realize that the US doesn't just send money overseas. They sent equipment, mostly older equipment. It will have to be restocked with new equipment, thus will create jobs and boom the economy in the US. Money creates money ...
