The GPU usage at 65536% usage is a glitch in MSI Afterburner; once you enable unifed GPU monitoring inside MSI Afterburner, it will show a more realistic percentage.

Hey Dawid, keep up the good work. Check the laptop power supply wattage, it may only be a 35 watts that's why 55 watts didn't work.

I've got a refurb laptop motherboard with a ryzen 2200U on it, I'm aiming to build a very small, custom HTPC, and use it for video, maybe game streaming, and some really low end gaming ( old emulators and stuff). So this kind of video is amazing to me.

gonna slap a stock ryzen cpu (desktop) cooler I had laying around, and make a custom acrylic box. Hopefully its gonna be the size of a compacti-ish VHS player.

Just wondering could you try pushing a desktop apu to the limits? Like overclocking the 3400g paired with 4133mhz cas 16 ram?

Awesome air cooler gaming temp. If you haven't already, please try liquid cooling the APU with a 120mm AIO or custom loop or both, Dawid.

The system auto-allocates RAM to the GPU. In terms of memory, the limitation here isn't the *amount* of RAM, but it's *bandwith* Dual-channel CPU RAM just isn't optimal for GPU operation. And, of course, you can also only get so much from three Vega cores.

Shouldn't we use the same capacities of ram to get the best performance in APUs(i.e.4+4=8gb)?

Hey, You should have certain courage and level of madness to do such thing ... I do like it a lot! BTW have you tried to increase infinity fabric frequency and VRM current limits? It should help a bit and I feel like here is a tiny room for improvement =) Also playing around with mem frequency also could help a bit Might be small sequel for this video?)
