Puscifer is always super hit or miss for me.........and this, this is a hit! I love how out there and subtly aggressive the song is. Not to mention that video....jesus, now THAT is a video. I honestly wish Tool was more creatively loose and free, like this, like they used to be. It's gotten WAY too paint by numbers...imo. Also....I kinda want to start a ska band(tho I don't like ska) based in Iowa....purely to name the band... Iowa Ska. That would amuse me for a good long while.... :)

I got this vinyl for Christmas and I can't stop listening to it

I love how this character is 180 degrees different than how Maynard comes across in interviews. He seems so serious, focused, and driven as himself but his art allows him to release his inner funny weirdo with a degree of plausible deniability. The circumstances of his early life put him in a dark place that was too much and unfair to a boy. He had to be serious and deal with the pain of his mother's condition when he should've been a fun loving kid. It's like tears of the clown but in reverse order. We learned all about the tears first and now he finally gets to be the clown.

This is phenomenal. It is visually v disturbing in a fantastic way, like a visual amusement park ride.very Ingeniously performed and written. This is the closest frequency I have ever heard to pick up what Pink Floyd was putting down. The music is a journey that consistently pleases the soul and entertains the mind, never falling victim to predictability or filler. The only negative thing that I could say is that , the visuals are so enthralling that the song is not given a fair fight for attention . The characters, costumes , dialogue, make up, and acting ability of the 2 main characters.......Pure Gold , my friends. They achieved some next level shit with this one.

I remember that day. Was just over 20 years old. MTV was good for a few seconds then the whole music business became nothing more then a pre-planned advertisement of what's new fashion. It reminded me of Raoul Duke in Fear and loathing. Right when he checks in the first hotel: "... And this is my attorneyyyyyy??" And his attorney is gone. Sounds a bit the same! Gonna look your bit up also though!

This song is amazing. Video is bad ass. Always amazes me when you hear a song first couple times and have no idea WTF it actually means until you really dig into it, when there’s a video like this, it makes it 10 times better. I’m just zonin right now.

I've listened to this song probably 100 times and 6:35 NEVER FAILS to send a chill down my spine... When I hear it loud on a system with a subwoofer, it's mind blowing....

He’s the one prophet I’d welcome again and again, because he does create such beauty , while true to his inner shadow and conscious self yet willing to grow and adopt new ideas instead of rehashing old patterns that aren’t working ... to still be relèvent to so many of us, for so long , and still kick ass as he’s brilliant old fart is truly a gift that not many Aquire or achieve if they do ... glad I got to grow with him and his band mates 🥰

Puscifer is always super hit or miss for me.........and this, this is a hit! I love how out there and subtly aggressive the song is. Not to mention that video....jesus, now THAT is a video. I honestly wish Tool was more creatively loose and free, like this, like they used to be. It's gotten WAY too paint by numbers...imo. Also....I kinda want to start a ska band(tho I don't like ska) based in Iowa....purely to name the band... Iowa Ska. That would amuse me for a good long while.... :)
