F-34's incident report: "On Saturday, May 18, 2024, at approximately 8:17 a.m., I was traveling southbound on United States Highway 165 (US-165) near Montrose, when I overheard the Ashley County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch advise that a police officer with the Sterlington Police Department was attempting to stop a vehicle, which was actively fleeing and traveling northbound on US-165 toward the Arkansas/Louisiana State lines. I advised Troop-F Dispatch regarding the radio traffic from the Ashley County Sheriff’s Office and began traveling southbound toward the state line. Shortly after arriving in Wilmot (8:29 a.m.), I observed the suspect vehicle traveling northbound at a high rate of speed. I attempted to slow the vehicle down by pulling out ahead of it in the northbound traffic lane but was unsuccessful. The suspect traveled around me and continued traveling northbound on US-165 at a high rate of speed. As the suspect vehicle traveled northbound on US-165, the suspect began traveling into the opposing lane of traffic, forcing approaching motorists off the roadway. As we continued traveling northbound on US-165, I continued to relay relevant information to Troop-F Dispatch. We traveled for approximately 9.7 miles, before I finally had no oncoming traffic and an appropriate location to perform a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI). The TVI was successful and caused the suspect vehicle to rotate clockwise before leaving the roadway and overturning several times. After the suspect vehicle came to rest on its passenger side, me and other officers proceeded with high-risk traffic stop procedures and ordered the driver out of the vehicle. We were able to arrest the suspect, who was later identified as Marquise Mason, without further incident. Mr. Mason was transported to the Ashley County Medical Center as a precaution for a medical evaluation; Deputy Jared Moffett with the Ashely County Sheriff’s Office followed the EMS unit to the hospital. After being released from the hospital, Mr. Mason was transported to the Ashley County Detention Center, where he was turned over to jail staff. Mr. Mason was charged with the following offenses: Fleeing 5-54-125, Aggravated Assault 5-13-204, Reckless Driving 27-50-308, Speeding 27-51-201, Driving Left of Center 27-51-301, Suspended Driver License 27-16-303, and No Insurance 27-22-104."
Here we go … here we go -- now we done! The ASP should erect billboards for inbound traffic on state borders: Don’t run - ASP WILL get you! 😎
If there are people out there wondering about the necessity of high speed TVI, this is why. Better to harm the guy running than to have innocent people killed or injured. Great job by Trp. Pryor!

You are correct up to a certain point. Pursuits are Nessaray part of the job, but sometimes innocent people get involved and are killed. So, a sometimes thing becomes a sometimes killer.

So a pit at 108 well if you die from the pit oh well that’s pretty high speed for doing a pit I’m not sticking up for the suspect but come on all these rollover high speed pits and all you here is hands hands hands. Suspect is lucky he or she is alive let alone able to move
Once you draw the attention of an ASP trooper, your options are pulling over nicely or getting your sh$t f--ked up lol
Driving in the other lane at on coming cars should draw an attempted murder charge.
Welcome to Arkansas, heres some grass to eat

That dude is smooth AF! That Arkansas drawl makes it even better!
Fun Fact: Arkansas is the nations largest producer of rice. (I got curious after seeing all those massive silos.) And shout out to Trooper Pryor! Love his "Here we go!" It's like his version of "Let's roll."

Not only that, but about half of all rice grown in the country is grown in Arkansas. It is that good Mississippi River bottomland dirt. Some of the best farm land in the world. I think rocks would grow in it.

I truly felt bad for that Ford Windstar minivan. The van looked to be in decent shape prior to the pursuit, and certainly had no issues maintaining speeds of 105+ mph for an extended period of time. Sad to see its violent demise.
Mr. Pryor needs to spend a little time with the Byrd man!!

@@drcdrdoct9864 I don't know about that. Cpl. Pyror is obviously a veteran of the ASP. Troop "F" isn't the bright lights and excitement that we see in Little Rock or West Memphis where chases are fairly common. It could be the case that he doesn't do them very often by the nature of his territory. Although we all love to watch the TVI, it is (in fact) a very dangerous technique that could go wrong. I don't think saying " Here we go" is a matter of him being scared but just a moment to be engaged with what is about to go down. Every trooper probably handles it differently. Even on a rural road deep in rural Arkansas, the work of the ASP is no less perilous.

@@drcdrdoct9864he’s trained(they all get trained..) everyone has there own tactics. trooper Byrd is a good trooper but he’s also in Little Rock where there tends to be a lot more pursuits, trooper Pryor is out in the rural area where not many pursuits occur. he sounds like a solid trooper and we should respect him for that.😊

I enjoyed Cpl Pryor's commentary 😂 NST, Clearly never disappointed with your content or Channel. Thank you very much.♥️🇺🇸🚑
Nice PIT Trooper Pryor! Thank you! 💙🙏🏼🚔 Thank you for another great video NST! 😊💜
Thanks again James for keeping it real. Thanks ASP for doing what has to be done to keep us safe.
Trooper Pryor asked why he was going into oncoming traffic. Some jurisdictions require officers to end the pursuit in that instance. I guess he forgot he was in Arkansas.
Love the trooper's commentary as he's preparing to TVI!

At 14:40 or so, was that another officer, or just a random truck? He was on the wrong side of the road!🫤
This make twice now where a perp is running from the law and enters Arkansas, not a good idea.

there aint enough O's in smooth to describe that TVI
Mr. Mason's van was rolled because of the ASP and now he cannot attend his college classes. His family held a press conference demanding that the ASP give him a new van AND pay for his Doctoral degree in Thuggery 101! 🤣
Cpl. Pyror's narration is epic. Thank you for your good service sir.. and of course.. NST for curating this great piece of police work.

Great ' TVI ' trooper , perfect timing and stating ' Here We Go ' . Really Cool . I worked for the railroad and drove that highway and worked on track working equipment for years . Not a lot going on in that area back when I was working . Sterlington Louisiana is a long way from where they nailed the suspect .

Trooper Pryor is my kind of cop gets in the thick of it all he says "here we go", no truer words were ever spoken!!
At 4:13, 127 mph in a 35 and the pickup driver is the freakin' idiot. I guess he should've known you would be coming through at 92 mph OVER the speed limit. It must be great to have your pizza ready five minutes before you order. Maybe you could use those psychic powers to get the criminal to stop.
“Here we go!” Pursuit Friday did not disappoint. Love listening to Trooper Pryor call the action!
Damn near had a head-on collision (multiple) because this guy didn't pit when he should have. If you're gonna say: "here we go" then let's actually go.
Thank you Trooper Pryor and the other officers involved in this chase. Don’t bring your foolishness to Arkansas cause ASP will shut you down.
No criticism from me on this ...... only kudos to Trp Pryorq. To those are critucs, TVIs are obviously a high speed, tedious maneuver that can be life threatening to everyone even close to it, including the officer. Going 100 mph and connecting with a other vehicle is an instances and harrowing procedure. It's easy to armchair QB these officers .... at times it appears that TVIs could have been performed sooner, but again, at 100 mph, spotting a suitable place to conduct it can be behind you as soon as you spot it .... Thanks officers for your endless service. It's safe, well and be Blessed.
8:42 Rest in Peace you poor bird! *(don't worry, you can't see anything, but you can hear the impact at **8:43**)*

I’ve counted eight birds flying in front of Pryor’s vehicle until he u-turned.

#1 producer of rice in the country. Also soybeans, cotton, corn, sorghum, are common. Louisiana is also a large producer of sugar cane. This the far SE part of Arkansas, in the flood plain of the Mississippi, commonly known as the Delta. Very fertile farmland.
