He also mentioned that he was a certified EMT. If he is, the state will definitely permanently suspend his certification. He of all people should know that he should comply with any and all law enforcement officials, especially when a law enforcement official is attempting to pull you over and you continuously ignore his authority to do so and continue to elude him.

AT NO POINT DID DRIVER FLEE. As soon as the 600 lb cop and the 6,000 lb cruiser was behind him he stopped. Probably shoulda pulled over, but still, no fleeing.

I do not want an EMT to help me if he or she had smoked pot before beginning his/her shift in an ambulance.

Wow, My observation is, he most likely couldn't handle the military. If this traffic stop scares him this much, scared for his life right now ? I think he said he was a certified EMT. I wouldn't want to depend on him to have my back on some of the calls that we respond to. Trooper Carlton showed a lot of restraint. My partner and I have been shot at, and threatened with knives. I'd turn around and this dude would be long gone. I hope he chooses a different career path, this includes not joining the military. Stops in the middle of a traffic lane on an exit, asks for a supervisor, refuses to exit vehicle, fights the officer when he attempts to remove him from vehicle, refuses to get on the ground, fights being handcuffed, and eleven seconds after being dumped in back seat of troopers car asks to make his phone call. Not all that bright ... and he wants to be a Marine? I doubt he would survive Basic.
