Pupusas- the cheesiest, best ever!
Pupusas
Makes 12-14
Masa dough
4 cups, instant yellow corn masa flour (Maseca)
4 cups, filtered water
¾ cup, vegetable oil
1 tbsp, salt
Cheese filling-
1 lb, mozzarella cheese
1 lb, jack cheese
½ lb, queso fresco
I’ll show you the curtido (cabbage slaw) recipe on another video. Please try this Pupusas recipe and let me know what you think. It’s so super easy and requires minimal ingredients. And remember, the first ones may not look the best but I guarantee that they’ll still taste amazing. The one and only thing that I really, really recommend is getting the Ice Cream scooper with a trigger #12 size (1/3 cup). They’re easily found online or at stores. Have fun and enjoy.
