It was nice meeting you at the tournament Ian and thanks again for signing my Jetmir. It's a deck I really enjoy and one I am going to try to learn better so if I get an opportunity to play at another tournament, I can do better than the 1-4-1 performance I had. Still had a lot of fun and the tournament was ran really well. Congrats on another top 16. I am sure you will manage to beat Charles eventually.

The blue farm players and all the top 4 guys played so amazingly all tournament. Mike played near perfect for sure. Naming 3 on prelate then 2 when it was bounced and replayed to lock out Urza after Charles dropped was *chefs kiss*.

Really cool to see Grim Tutor in one of the blue farm flex slots. It's a card I'm pretty high on when your card quality/availability is so high. It offers you another avenue to tutor for the second half of an A+B combo, or pull out a table-specific piece of interaction/hate in a diverse meta. It's the "worst" of the black tutors you'd play, but it's still a better tutor than most other colors' tutors

I have always kinda wondered why if, a) people play three mana tutors in other colors and b) people play Praetor’s grasp then why does almost no one play Grim Tutor? I mean, I realize that black has better options and a higher density of tutors than other colors and I know P Grasp has a slightly different function… it just seems to me that if Praetors Grasp and Solve the Equation are definitely cedh quality cards then grim tutor should at least be in some lists. I guess it’s not great w adnauseum for a number of reasons but is it not at least just a better card in a pure card quality sense than P Grasp/Solve the Equation?? So should it not be in at least some decks? This has made me consider running the card in some of my lists

It really is satisfying that; a year ago, playing Winota, I was making the argument of its power only to have the people I was playing with try to tell me her power directly reduces in relation to your opponents skill level and that she's only really great against weak players..... Thanks for making me look half smart! 🤷🤣💪

crazy how mono white ( weakest mono color in cmd or so they say) won it ! Strange deck, love it ! also Winota (again white, red previously said as 2 weakest colors in cmd) winning it all , not that hugely surprised since guy at my local table wins with her almost every time he plays that deck. I guess more board wipes included would change meta again ?
