Pulled Pork on Char Griller Akorn Kamado

Some people prefer "low and slow" when it comes to cooking a pork shoulder. I've found zero difference in a pork shoulder cooked for 16+ hours at 225 and one cooked between 275-300 in about 8 hours. In this video I show you my process for knocking out a pork shoulder in less than 9 hours for the perfect pulled pork.

Prepping meat in a litter box is such a great idea. Thanks for the tip!

It’s actually a marinading tray but the important thing is you were able to play internet tough guy. Hope things turn around for you and and you find a way to lead a better life than the miserable one you currently seem to be living.

You started drinking at 930am? As a newbie, I think showing the wood should have been the most important part of the video but it was left out

Thanks for the video. Going to try this tomorrow for the first time. If you open vents the Kamado gets hotter, right?

Correct. I usually have the vents barely open throughout the cook to maintain consistent lower temps.
