PTS MTEK FLUX Airsoft helmet, review

Now we are going to get into the review of the MTEK Flux, this is a PTS-licensed replica and is a comfortable Airsoft lid. The MTEKs rails and NOD mount are interesting in their design and are multiple-part units. The Flux has a different shape language to your standard Opscore Highcut but is similar to an Opscore Maritime helmet. I bought this helmet at my local Evike store so I can provide a link to where you can pick one up if you like this bad boy.

PTS has numerous add-on parts for these helmets like chinstraps, NOD mounts, rails, and velcro. I was pleased with this helmet and think it's a fantastic helmet choice for Airsoft and the only thing I would change is the MLOK rails.

Interesting. I too am a jug head (large 8 point and large ACH) and have been wanting a bump helmet for night nods shooting. This fits that bill nicely.

It's a nice helmet so far! I will be running it pretty hard on June 1st and 2nd.
I have this on order, and hopefully this fits my small/medium head!

With the extra pads you should be fine.
Hey Muddy. I fully endorse this helmet, been using it for 2 years, coming from a mid level opscore bucket this was a nice upgrade. You are right about the rail being mlok being somewhat limiting right now, but with that said... most folks will use it for ear pro.. and mlok version of those can be found easily on the market, team wendy also has its own propriatery rails system. In the future, its all going mlok so over time, more opens will come with mlok .. think of it as an investment ;)

That is fantastic information! I know MLOK is king in gun rails at the moment, but I still don't know how much we will see for helmets.
I run this helmet for 3 years now I love it but yes mlok rails suck took forever to find the pieces to attach earpro. Might be easier now but was a pain to source in 2020

You have 2 options Opscore AMP arms real or repro and Unity adapters.
is this the same as a FMA MT helmet?

Short answer no but sort of. Long answer is this is a licensed product from PTS of the MTEK Flux helmet. The finish on the PTS lid is more in line with a real helmet. I wasn't even aware of the FMA but now I need one to compare them.
