Bought one of these a couple of months ago. It is super comfy but I haven't had a chance to run it in a game yet due to COVID. I'm thinking the lack of ventilation holes might cause some extra fogging issues but overall I am impressed with the quality of a replica. So I can't really give a complete review of the MTEK FLUX helmet but right out of the box it gets a 8.5/10 from me.

Diles46 - AIRSOFT I still got my airsoft gear that I got but I still never went near my brother but fart around in the backyard shooting each other safely of course LOL with masks and stuff goggles but I don’t know anyone my age that Is into it next time you’re in California and you go to TAC city that’s the closest place I am too I’m not far from Fullerton California I would like to go with you on my first time

Thanks for the great review, planning on grabbing one of these myself! Also, how did you get a left eye dominant retention system!? Being a lefty shooter I have had problems with other helmet straps in the past, and I didnt see an option for it on any of the listings.

I owned the "Dragon Red" Wendy replica years ago and it was very nice in terms of material/build quality. This PTS Flux feels just as good but has a thicker shell which adds to the weight and rigidness I feel. The more dense Flux has a better overall feel but it is important to note that the wendy replica is replicating a thinner bump helmet to where this one is a replica ballistic helmet. Hope that helps ya out!

Extremely comfortable. I have the Tan version...only thing I hate is the struggle of finding helmet covers in stock...I picked up a Agilite in RG and a spiritus only MCB...you gonna be at the rock for the 4 year?

It definitely stands out. The real ballistic flux comes in OD with black or OD with coyote rails but no OD rail options. I too would like to know the reason for it but I personally am okay with the black on OD

Biggest thing keeping me from buying this helmet is, I’m a small dude.. I’ve got a 21” head(S/M). I just barely fit an opscore which goes down to a 20 7/8”... and even still, I feel like there’d be to much slop there. 🤦♂️ Do you actually think I could size this down enough to fit me?

@@SacredEwok So heres what I went with: -I got the Hard Head Veterans bump. If you have Honey installed on your computer you can get it for about 180. It fit okish stock but still had a good bit of slop to it. -Then I went to Ballistic Armor Co and got a replacement opscore style harness and Arc rails. Was like, 60 for these. Cant remember what we had to grind, I think it was the original hardware on the helmet, Just grinded slot to turn them into flatheads so it was easier to get them out. Used the pads the helmet came with. -I painted my helmet before putting the replacement stuff on. Taped the velcro off, tried to make it look good. It fits MUCH more snug and actually gets tight with plenty of extra room to get even more tight. Bought a knock off G24(40) and noise fighters AX-14(150?) for a pvs-14 I managed to obtain. Had to grind the G24 a bit to make it fit though. A Microbat counterweight(60). Opscore amp arms(100) and AXL straps(100) for the howard leights(40), HLs have the noise fighters gel cups(60). And it honestly turned out really really nice and comfortable. I eventually wanna make a video about it because I have not seen another built the same way and I think it could really help others make a decision.
