Pt 9 Pivot Pins, Drilling, Tapping, & Final Cleaning - 5.0 Stroker 4.6 Teksid Engine Block

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In this video I install Cobra Engineering tensioner pivot pins using their drill fixture. The fixture does make it a lot easier but there are some tips to make sure the holes are not drilled too far into the oil gallery. I also clearance for the stroker kit and chase the head bolt threads on the engine block.

Is this a must (pivot pin) for every build?

No, it's not a must but it's a good idea, especially if the engine will be used with a transbrake or a two-step ignition.
