John Dudley has given the archery community so much I have learned so much from one amazing man and he deserves the opportunity to join any team and help design something awesome his knowledge is second to none. A great archer is only as good as his/her equipment.

I agree and have learned much from his videos, but between the real tree camo (on NXT) and only "ONE" position offered for sights on the NTN I had to go with the NXT. Still very happy to see Dudley join PSE though.😃👍

Just picked up an NTN 33 yesterday in Digital Camo..I can’t put it down, it’s a great looking Bow. I went into the bow shop to get the Elite Kure and I figured I’d shoot the PSE and it didn’t take me long to lean towards the PSE.. the draw is really smooth and has a solid back wall..the valley is really Phenomenal you literally have to help it forward and is quite forgiving. I’ve been dealing with a shoulder injury which gives me a little shake from the sharp pain but I have no problem grouping in a 2-3” ⭕️ not to mention it has a 90% let off which is great if you have to hold a shot. Once I got it dialed in I couldn’t put it down. It’s a really fun bow to shoot.

I wanted the NXT 35 but my DL is only 26"ish (so no NXT 33) and after trying the 31 I found the weight was all I could handle. I have now shot enough to add a 2.5' stabilizer and two V bars to my 31. I have also added a heavy coiled spring to the lower/ second stabilizer, and used two arrows hot glued in to have the same fwd legs as the NTN.....I now have a 31" real tree camo "hunting target" bow and loving it.

I think consumers will convince themselves that one bow is better than the other just because it carries a name attached to it. I don't even know why they call i John Dudley bow. He didn't design any aspect of the bow. He used it and suggested that PSE added one or two minuscule features that has no affect on the performance of the bow.

You need to shoot one. They are AWESOME! Dudley's input did a lot for PSE hunting bows - it improved accuracy, speed, forgiveness, vibration damping and added some custom tweaks. Would I buy his signature bow? Nope. Will I buy the NXT and customize the HELL out of it? Yep! For a while there bow manufacturers were all about speed and 'performance' and PSE's industry-breaking X Force was the culvert. It's good to see 7" plus brace heights coming back with smooth and forgiving cam systems. For me, the idea of target accuracy in a hunting bow is awesome.

For some reason when I was looking the price difference was closer to $500. But the conclusion I came to was that the NTN was really only changed to make sure that you could buy the knock on rest to go with it as the nxt wouldn’t work with it. By the time you pay the extra $500 for the bow and pay $400 for the rebranded AAE pro drop away you could have set up the nxt with a PSE specific rest, got a good quality sight and a mid range or even cheap hunting stabiliser and has a pretty good bow. If you buy the NTN and the knock on rest you still need to spend another $600-$800 on the sight and stabiliser. I could have possibly bought a nxt if I could have had the chance to try one, unfortunately the only way to do it was fly to archery supplies because no one else seems to have them in Australia. Johns reach works because he builds trust with new archers and tells them about his stuff first so that’s what they buy.

@@theamazinggoldfish8713 you can get the NXT in 80# too. PSE made the 80# model because the NXT is slightly down on speed compared to other bows. 80# affords you the same forgiving bow characteristics of the NXT and you can shoot a heavier arrow to improve kinetic energy. Basically it means that you're upping your passthrough chances on big game whilst still maintaining shootability and accuracy.

DO IT! I'm ordering one for myself right now! After shooting as many 2020 bows as possible, the NXT really is the bow that shines through. In my opinion, the only bows in the same league are target bows. As Steve pointed out, the guy testing it shot TWO perfect scores. Steve mentioned that the guy will try out the 75% let-off modules. Why would you bother if you shot TWO perfect scores?! FYI - The NTN is about $200 more expensive. For that price you could have a set of custom colored strings made and fitted. Just sayin....

Everyone I know started on a PSE I shot a PSE because my dad shot one they are a great long lasting bow. I've just gotten back into bows after a few years shooting rifles and pistols, I bought a PSE Decree HD off you which I'm stoked with! I'd love to buy the NTN 33 but I think the wife would kill me atm, when money permits I'll buy one and hopefully a full throttle as well I'd love to keep a collection of the best PSE flagship bows money permitting.

Look, the NTN is a great bow but for the cosmetic features and no real shoot ability mods it’s not worth the huge price difference here in America the price difference is still substantial after putting on the customer green strings which I actually don’t like. That’s why I went with the NXT 31 faster just as smooth and for me i like the shorter bow for ground blind hunting. However when it’s bed time and your sitting there in your own thoughts, go with what your gut says or better yet let the bow speak to you.

@ Jimmy - remember when you fist got into archery? Did you know what arrow spine and bow tuning really meant? I didn't! I used to anchor wherever I felt like lol. My accuracy was CRAP! You're right mate, Dudley has conjured a big following and it's because he simplifies tuning principles and steps people through all the ins and outs with free videos. That's what Australia needs, free information. I used to work for Steve and we put together an information package which would have new archers hitting an apple at 10M and understanding how and why they did it. That's the real key to keeping archers in the sport.

I don't think ANYONE is going to take your word seriously when you have 'terrorist' in your name... A word of advice: try incorporating some carbohydrates into your diet as it will alleviate the nutritional stress on your brain. I've worked with Steven HANN (not Hand) and I will tell you that he is one of the nicest and most honest people I have ever met. Someone wise once told me that you can count the number of true friends with the number of fingers you have. Steven is one of those characters. Sure, he may be forgetful and his reviews may not always be 100% scientific. However, holding a PHD, I can tell you that he is highly emotionally intelligent and he integrates scientific principles into his reviews far more than most. He's also the real deal: he shoots target archery and he shoots quite well. You'd need to spend years shooting all of the bows and analyzing the results and scientific data in order to put together realistic and honest reviews like Steven does. Get off your high horse and go and shop elsewhere if you don't like him. It's an open market. Just don't whinge when you pay 1.5 times the price for the same gear without a warranty because a backyard operator sold it to you.
