We must always build our spiritual lives on Jesus Christ, who is a solid foundation that will never fail. It is it important to understand the stability we have in Christ, from a personal as well as corporate perspective so we can be assured that no matter what comes, what challenges we face, our foundation in Christ is secure and can’t be moved. All we have to do is believe. God is greater than anything we can face. When we believe this with all of our heart and mind then the trials of life will not overwhelm us or overcome us. This is our security in Him: “I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]” (John 16:33 AMP) It's knowing that we will go through storms and trusting that God has already given us the victory that will enable us to remain confident, certain and undaunted. No matter what we face, or what it looks like, God is in control. Be Encouraged!

We must always build our spiritual lives on Jesus Christ, who is a solid foundation that will never fail. That is important to understand, to know deep down in our spirit, both personally and corporately, as part of the Bride of Christ, because, otherwise, we will be shaken by every wind of doctrine, or live in fear that we are not good enough for God. A relationship with Jesus, and knowing that He our focus and we His, proves so precious, and no matter what happens in life, we know in Whom we have believed. Truly, on Christ the solid rock I stand…all other ground is sinking sand. Thanks for the teaching, Dr. G.
