Ah, the heady delights of taking your Playstation to Grandma's house so you can ignore everyone and play Final Fantasy VIII. And with portable screens it became easier than ever!
We take a look at the official Sony screen, an offering from Logic 3 and another unit from Competition Pro. And all of them are almost impossible to film, so look forward to that!

gtx 1070 It’s because the Emperor used shoddy cybernetics in his suit to limit his force abilities for fear of potentially getting overthrown by Vader later on. Simon Whistler over on the Today I Found Out channel actually has a video explaining this last I checked.
@Rad-Dude63andathird
4 жыл бұрын
@@Jolis_Parsec Well, *partially* so. He'd be weaker no matter what the cybernetics were, as he has less of himself left, and the Force and the midichlorians that influence one's ability kinda do the whole "flowing through living things" part. Vader did get intentionally shitty cybernetics though as punishment and as you said, for fear of him overthrowing Palpatine. He was in a great deal of pain *constantly* due to them, but refused any upgrades he could've had because the pain helped him channel into the Dark Side far better than he would living comfortably.

When I moved to a new house back in 2001, I used to play on the PS1 with the Sony screen while we renovated everything. Weeks into it, I came home after school to see that my dad had hooked up our PS2 to the little screen to watch a movie. I was able to catch up with some of my PS2 games before we finally got furniture in. It was a neat little hack but the PS1 had to be on to provide power for the screen.
I got that PS1 with the official screen at a thrift store about 10 years ago for 20 bucks, i still can't believe my luck. That small screen is really amazing.

The ironic thing is both Nintendo and Sega thought this too.
I just bought a PSOne about the time you posted this apparently. The damn screen cost 3 times what I paid for the system, but one day I'll pick up one of those as well.
Those little tinkles as it booted up gave me such happy chills 😊☺️😊☺️
Still got this console and screen! It was fairly easy to adapt to a car for a nice bit of Final Fantasy on those long several-hour road trips.
