Proving Genesis | Andrew - Twinsberg, OH | Atheist Experience 22.08

The Atheist Experience episode 22.08 for March 4, 2018, with Tracie Harris and Callie Wright.
Call the show on Sundays 4:00-6:00pm CDT: 1-512-686-0279
We welcome your comments on the open blog thread for this show.
► freethoughtblogs.com/axp/
KZread comments are at present disabled in our channel, to the displeasure of some. However, each video has a prominent link to the associated open thread that appears on our blog. In the past we've tried opening up the channel to comments, but we found that a very high number of episodes wound up being flooded with a combination of spam, long winded apologists, and various obscene or misogynistic comments directed at various hosts by people with an axe to grind. This seems to be the nature of KZread comment sections, in our experience.
We do moderate the blog, the same way that we moderate chat during the show, as well as comments on our Facebook group. For comment sections that are "officially" associated with our show (and, to a much lesser extent, channels that may give the unintended appearance of being official), we prefer not to play host to straight up ad hominem attacks and bigotry. As a general policy we do not block commenters simply on the basis of disagreement with our point of view. However, we do prefer discussion environments that don't actively chase off more reasonable contributors.

WHAT IS THE ATHEIST EXPERIENCE?
The Atheist Experience is a weekly call-in television show in Austin, Texas geared at a non-atheist audience. The Atheist Experience is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin.
The Atheist Community of Austin is organized as a nonprofit educational corporation to develop and support the atheist community, to provide opportunities for socializing and friendship, to promote secular viewpoints, to encourage positive atheist culture, to defend the first amendment principle of state-church separation, to oppose discrimination against atheists and to work with other organizations in pursuit of common goals.
We define atheism as the lack of belief in gods. This definition also encompasses what most people call agnosticism.

What bugs me is that nobody thinks of the fish and what would have happened to them during and after a global flood. Any type of water, including rain water that makes up a global flood would completely alter the water parameters of any body of water. All fish survive in a specific set of parameters (temperature, ammonia, nitrate, nitrate, PH, GH, KH, mineral levels, salinity for saltwater and brackish fish, etc). A global flood would cause every single parameter to swing so drastically that it would kill so many species of fish, if not all of them. Yet the fish are perfectly fine, and we’re fine during that timeframe.

The "circle" of the earth in the Bible verse is NOT saying the earth is round like a ball. The Hebrew word for "circle" is literally a CIRCLE, which is flat. The verse is referring to the earth as a flat circular object, like a pancake.

Follow up questions to where did the water go are where did it come from and how, exactly, did it more to and from the oceans. If your answer is god magic then just go with that and stop trying to make sense of non-sense by alleging you have evidence.

i guess this man has not read his bible, at the time of the tower of Babel, it has people living passed 500 years old. This is the account of Shem’s family line. Two years after the flood, when Shem was 100 years old, he became the father[d] of Arphaxad. 11 And after he became the father of Arphaxad, Shem lived 500 years and had other sons and daughters. 12 When Arphaxad had lived 35 years, he became the father of Shelah. 13 And after he became the father of Shelah, Arphaxad lived 403 years and had other sons and daughters.[e] 14 When Shelah had lived 30 years, he became the father of Eber. 15 And after he became the father of Eber, Shelah lived 403 years and had other sons and daughters. This caller's argument is melting fast than an ice cube on the hottest day in death valley
