Whould be more useful if there would be actual pronounciation of the PIE words. Most of the people can't read PIE transcriptions.

What's the name of the first song? I love that chord progression. Very interesting video showing relations that are not that obvious.

Interesting that proto-Celtic “sun” and moon are given as deriving from sóhwl and lówksneh / mēhns. Scottish Gaelic has “grian” for sun (to do with radiant heat, ember-in-ashes, which pretty much describes the sun trying to keek through Scotland’s usual overcast sky most of the year). There is a poetic expression for the sun, “Sùil an latha” the “eye of the day”. Sùil is the standard word for the eye. Moon is gealeach / rè. (White as in pale or blanched, and the same word as “during” and in many phrases to do with duration / temporariness, and some measurement.)

Ну это очень теоретически и приблизительно. Очень близко к современному распространению. Языковая карта Европы сложилась в основном после великого переселения народов.

They belong to the Baltic language branch which itself belongs to the Balto-Slavic branch, which also includes Slavic, and whose members are colored green in this map

@@adriangrunert513 I still don't understand why you equate Czech, Polish, and Slovakian with Swedish and Norwegian. They are clearly coloured differently in this map. Swedish and Norwegian are Germanic while Czech, Slovak, and Polish are Slavic
