PROTESTERS Get Trampled By Queens Guards! 2022

The 2022 Jubilee parade shows UK protesters stormed onto the mall before being dragged away by police officers. The clip shows them gaining a seating position very fast and then rapidly being removed to make way for the band.

In the 1970’s I was a US Army musician, and we were once marching in a big parade being nationally televised. A network cameraman had the bright idea to shoot an angle right in the middle of our formation as we marched on both sides of him, even as our drum major ordered him to stand aside. (Military formations do not allow themselves to be broken.) Instead of stepping aside, he flipped our drum major the middle finger. Big mistake. One of our guys in the front row knocked this clown down instead of stepping aside (this guy was very much interfering with our duties), and as we marched on he was indeed stepped on several times. What would we have done with protesters lying down in front of us? Marched over them, of course.

We have yearly parades and back in the 1980s my friend was in cadets and was marching with his unit. He was about 15 or 16 so then. They were carrying FN rifles -- rather big, long, and heavy. Some idiot tourist jumped into the middle of the street to take pictures of the float coming after them and proceeded to go down the middle of the formation even when the Warrant Officer tried to get him out of the way. He then starts a stupid struggle with the Warrant Officer. Next thing we know the guy is rushing to the side, blood coming out of his arm, and folks are screaming for the paramedics. To this day I remember the Warrant Officer's words "Yes jack ass, those bayonets are real." A couple of hundred people along the sidelines all heard it and broke out laughing. I didn't know the boy whose bayonet sliced the tourist flailing around as folks with bayonets marched past him, but my friend said they all laughed about it, even years later.

Probably because they had planned for there to be protestors and it was very high profile. A lot of the videos you see of people holding up normal traffic are taken before the police can get there, mostly because people use their phones to record the whole thing before thinking to use them to call the police. Priorities, people.
