Protect The Barriers In Your Gut!

The gut is like a quarantine station in your body. Its job is to take nutrients from food and get rid of waste. It has barriers to prevent things that don't belong from entering your bloodstream. These barriers include the GI tract, tight junctions, mucosal IgA, friendly bacteria, and stomach acid.
Leaky gut can be caused by things like food allergens, infection, medications, and toxins. Eating healthy food is important for the gut to function properly. Gluten, which is found in wheat, is a major cause of leaky gut.
Even if you're not gluten sensitive, eating a lot of grains can still contribute to leaky gut and autoimmune disease.

    Dr. Osborne, you said fructose is bad too. I'm in trouble because right now I'm already avoiding ALL grains, dairy, all processed foods, nuts/seeds, potatoes.. so how can I get enough calories from eating only vegetables? I'm a hard gainer and I lose weight very easily and I'm already skinny :( Also I can't tolerate much fat or meat because of my stomach issues. And now I want to heal my gut by avoiding those foods that I mentioned. But how can I do this if I avoid all hi carb things?? All vegetables are pretty low in carbs and calories. Also I can't tolerate betaine HCL, digestive enzymes or ox bile to help my digestion. I tried many brands. So I need to fix this with other ways. And yes, my diet is 100% organic.

    this is why they put gluten in shampoo and conditioner, it flattens/smooths the hair on your head which is basically the same thing its doing to the fibers in your gut.

    I have slightly above normal IgA for 4 years now. I was checked for multiple myeloma and was negative. Hematologist says no cancer but I’m having some kind of inflammation from immune response. I do a very low carb diet to keep my A1C in good range…off of gluten and all grains. Is having a slightly high IgA bad…even though other bloodwork is normal. Also my ferritin is 118.8 and last CRP was 1.1. Could fasting cause elevated IgA? Also have Hashimoto for 20 years Thanks

    Do you have amalgam fillings, root canals, partially erupted wisdom teeth or other dental infection? Removing my amalgams (in mouth for 50 years), stopping all seed oils (only mct, grass fed butter, tallow and coconut oil) and low carb organic diet venison, whey and beef based, surprised me by eliminating the antibodies giving me hashimotos. I also drink distilled water and filter my bath water.

    What does grass finished mean?

  • @annalane5430

    @annalane5430

    23 күн бұрын

    “Grass-finished” means the cows have been fed grass their whole life (and not fed grain in their last months or weeks to fatten them up to get a better price for the meat). “Grass-fed” means they might have just been fed grass at the beginning but does not guarantee they have not been fed grains at the end. “100% Grass-fed” means the cows have been grass-fed and grass-finished.
