Was driving by a Hyundai dealership that is under construction to transform to a Genesis dealership as well, saw a white G90 on display and immediately had to buck a U turn to go see it. Took pictures and fell even more in love than I already was.

They certainly nailed the design of this car for sure very striking

I'm loving it ...rides as well as an S-class ..... without the black plastic inside .....it rides as well as a Flying Spur .... without the black plastic inside...... as a daily driver it's excellent and very calm to drive in city traffic. For a better luxury sedan interior and ride you would have to go for a ghost but even that's got too much black plastic for me. I think it would be better with a Turbo V8 ...it is noticable that it's slower then my old S550. The door are fantastic. the cameras fabulous, the blind spot camera in the instrument screen is just perfect. I don't like the carbon much ...would prefer wood trim. I've only had it a few days .....we had the Hurricane so not too much driving yet but what I have done is excellent. Big negative is it doesn't have a rear mirror camera or wireless carplay ...I don't mind the center console but the HVAC screen is too reflective by far.

@@ThePaulpope Thanks for replying! That is a relief! My dad recently got a new Porsche cayenne and it has about 2,600 miles and there are a few rattles already! It's more annoying to me than anything else. But I am glad the G90 is solid! I am almost there to get one!

This car is amazing in almost every aspect! It's just missing the 8 cylinder. I recently surprised my wife with this 2024 E Supercharged in Makalu Gray with the all white interior. This our 5th Genesis vehicle and her 2nd G90, which is a 2021 5.0. In silver with the taupe interior and the crazy Maybach looking wheels. Although my wife says the 2024 is quick enough for her but not like our 5.0 8 cylinder. If she wants more acceleration, she just jumps in her 2022 C8 Corvette LT2 with the Z51 package. 0-60 2.9 seconds. I am an exotic guy myself, but must admit Chevrolet took the Corvette from a American Sports car into an exotic class, and for a lot less money. Wait until I take delivery on the 2024 C8 Z06 I ordered. She does have access to my cars too! Remember a happy wife makes for a happy life!😊 I must admit that the 2024 G90 ride, comfort and tech is amazing!!! I told my wife is I am buying her a black limo drivers cap to wear while driving me around in the back seat! She also has a 2020 G80 which is now our family loaner as we have seven adult children. We also put one of our sons in a G70 (He is an employee and its a perk). I have become a big Genesis fan since 2017. I am no longer drinking the S Class and 7 Series koolaid. My wife actually says enjoys the Genesis G90's over any of the S Class and the 7 Series! My best friend has an 2022 LS 500, and he is blown away at our G90s, but he really loves the exotics.

Hi Kevin, this car is really growing on me, I love the wheels, wrap around lights, and the rear quarter. I've kind of become accustomed to the less "floaty" characteristics of the LS, and have come to enjoy it. With that said the LS, the BMW, the Mercedes, no matter what pretense of sportiness and or minimal capabilities in my opinion, even if capable, were not meant to be hammered. I would venture to say that 95 percent of buyers don't drive them aggressively. I think the LS is a good compromise between enjoyable to drive and the "cloud". It will be interesting to see how these fare in the low mile year old secondary market. Great review.

Yea I think you’re def right sir a lot of this flagship luxury drivers will most likely be mellow drivers but I’m glad you’re taking advantage of the LS driving dynamics 👍 wish more people would appreciate the LS for that reason

Thank You, your the first guy not to "bury the lede" about the Genesis G90. The main reason you buy a car like this is ride quality. You want to step inside a luxurious cocoon and be completely isolated from everything around you

Lexus needs to step their game up lol, this car is way more attractive than the ls500

Wireless doesn't bother me! Very classy ride Does both rear seats recline? because the driver will be compromised

Dude! that car is pretty cool looking if you have a driver and don't mind the badge that comes with it. I'd get one if I could LOL I totally love the design inside and out.

This car to me is most like the Bentley flying spur.

I have to give Genesis credit... they are still building some tech loaded cars

My 2018 has serious connection problems for navigation. The new one is nice but I could find a Toyota with navigation that works.

Hey bro, so I haven’t tried the latest W223 S class but you know how highly I thought about the W222 2014-2020 S class. The 2015 S class I tested was riding on 18” wheels and this G90 is riding on 21” wheels, this G90 is equally as comfortable as that 2015 S class I tested. It’s about as quiet as that W222 S class as well so I’m very impressed with this ride bro, I’m sure the new S class is probably better but will cost 30-50k more Than this hope this helped.

Hi go to the NHTSA website and type in LS 500 and scroll down to the Manufacturer’s communications section. This will show you all of the TSBs or issues that vehicle will have

look how big the rear windows are. never seen those proportions before

What about the reliability/resale value?

That’s what all of these flagship cars are.. lease & dumps only. I mean even a Corolla now has nearly the same level of electronics & sensors as a 10 year old flagship so almost every new car is a lease & dump now

I wonder if there's a screen protector type product that can be added to that shitty glossy HVAC screen to take the glare away, seems like a bit of an oversight by Genesis in leaving that like it is.

Actually it’s interesting you bring that up because I think they sell those for some Tesla Screens since this is just a small rectangle, perhaps one could just cutout a piece and stick it on. But you’re right, Genesis had a high quality matte screen for the infotainment wish they would have just reused that

I’m not sure my friend, our access here is not very good/random. I was supposed to get the Volvo C40 EV this week to test but they pulled out last second. I know there is a G80 V6 model and a GV70 4 cylinder circulating our area but it’s possible Genesis pulled those cars out of our area. Is what it is, I’m grateful to be one of the first people to review the G90 in the states at least.

I may consider it when it depreciated to $50k

Consider the 2017 today

I think they are going to have a tough time selling these though what is basically a Hyundai dealership with a Genesis " alcove" added on to it. You still use the same service drive and use the same dealership facilities Thats a tough pill at $100K While it looks nice a very nice car it is not the bargain that it used to be I consider this car to be a car a Lexus LS prospective buyer might consider and the Lexus LS has been selling slowly for years now This market seems to go overwhelmingly for the Germans if they are going to buy a sedan

They messed up by not bringing the longwheel base model to America. It's only in Korea . They also need an electric model

Well you have to look at what the competition costs. That’s when it becomes a bargain. A Bentley is a bargain at 300k when it is compared to a Ghost that costs 400k. It’s all relative.

Competition is a BMW 7 Series, Mercedes S Class, Audi A8, & Lexus LS500. Genesis G90 for $90K-$100k is a bargain in the class that it competes in with all the features it offers.

There are no cons. Zero . This car checks all the boxes for 99.99% of drivers .
