I worked at a doggy daycare/kennel Pros play with dogs and teach them tricks and ball ball and feed them walk them. Also do grooming and give baths and etc sound chores all day long. Cons Working weekends and picking up poop 💩 and cleaning all day and vomit and giving and working the holidays the commute it exhausting. Breaking up dog fights and watching them all the time 24/7 mopping and etc standing all day too. I love you and how is everything BBFLS and how is Luna such a beautiful name for your dog I have a golden retriever named Splash he is 10 so sweet xoxo 😘

How is the snow ❄️? how is your husband? are you thinking of doing your own jewelry line or make up or clothing line? Plus can I ask have you ever gotten to deliver a baby on your airline yet? That would be amazing xoxo 😘 BBFLS

I'm a year late, but I'm happy to chime in! My job title is Night Audit Supervisor. I report to the Night Manager, and I basically run the front office at night. You know how, when you stay a hotel, you get charged for the accommodations? In a nutshell, night audit is the process that makes that happen every night. In addition, my hotel has a restaurant off the lobby, so I have to pull the financial information from them too. If the conference center had any banquets, that's my domain as well. I would say that the biggest pro of my job is that I get steep discounts at my company's brands of hotels all over the world. My personal goal is to visit every US state and Canadian province and territory during my lifetime, so that could help. The biggest con is the hours. My typical shift is 11PM until 7AM the following morning. Another pro is that I can interact with someone new every day (or, in my case, every night). They're coming to see my city, so I like to point my guests toward my favorite restaurants in the Burlington, Vermont area, and they see why they're my favorites. At the same time, a huge downside is that if things go wrong, I'm the one getting the phone calls and complaints. A noise complaint, for example, is pretty routine; all I have to do is send security up to quiet them down. On the other hand, I did accidentally send someone up to a room that was already occupied, clearly by mistake. Some mix-up had happened on a shift prior to mine, and I ended up dealing with the fallout from that. The one guest really tore me a new one, if you know what I mean. Another big pro, at least in my hotel, is my coworkers. My coworkers and I are a tight-knit group, we know each other well, the whole enchilada. My Assistant Director of Front Office has said she'd be more than happy to be a mentor for me. And I'd love to find a front desk agent to develop into a supervisor. On the other hand, advancement in a hotel career could mean a lot of moving around the country, which for me personally, would be hard because I'd be away from my family almost year-round. Want to know more? Ask me!

The pros outweigh the cons. Passengers are so lucky to have you. The fact that you’ve held their hands during turbulence, prayed with them, held babies makes you a wonderful person/flight attendant . 💕

So many pros and cons to your job for sure. The one that sticks out to me the most is about who you’re working with as a crew. You can have the worst day in your life on the job but your colleagues can either make it more pleasant and fun or make it a worse nightmare! It’s true of any job where staffing can change on a regular basis.

I absolutely love how positive you were in this video! I'm a firm believer that life is what you make of it - and even though you listed "cons," you had such a positive attitude throughout, even the "cons." I'm someone who loves traveling alone... I can do what I want when I want and am not beholden to what someone else wants to do or around their schedule of wanting to do things. I love traveling with friends and family as well, don't get me wrong.. but I have zero issues traveling alone. I've been to London, NYC, DC, and St. Louis all alone and have loved it. Vegas is usually friends/family vacation spot!

I've worked an average of 8 years in different roles within my company. Some were great, some were not-so-great but I put my effort to make the role better. I always enjoyed learning every day. I retired in my least favourite role since being hired but there were many aspects of the position that I truly enjoyed. Bless you & stay safe.

When you are driving solo, yes it is exciting cause you get to see the open road and see every state, but it can get lonely as well with driving to your destination and sleeping in your truck and you really cannot go out too much and so you are stuck at truck stops. Since a bad experience on your "other" hometown airline back in 2008, 'I've never regarded a reservation as "confirmed". I was ticketed RNO-LAS-IAD, with a change of plane at LAS. The inbound to RNO was late. Seriously late. Those of us who were booked to IAD were sent to BWI, instead! Oversold flight. I live under the downwind of 19L at IAD! BWI is a 75 mile dive away. Baltimore is not a place you want to try getting a taxi at half-pas midnight! Especially one willing to go to VA. Instead of 10:30 PM, I got home at 2:30 AM. I stayed away from that airline for eleven years. Until I no longer had someone else's schedule to liver by! Virgin America and your employe5r got my flight business during those years. Or, I drove. Or, like now, I didn't travel. My pain... Your gain! Does your employer use the Net Promoter Score system to measure customer satisfaction? Really useful tool. Another good video. Hang in there.

I think one of the cons to being a flight attendant or crew member is drying out your skin (or aging your skin). Seems like you would want to invest in high quality skin care products as a flight attendant.

When you have to fly in to work, if you don’t live in your Base City, how does that work when you get a phone call and have to be there as quickly as you can but you have to fly in? Also do you have to pay for those flights to commute? And what if there are no last minute flights available for you to fly into work?
