Dear Sir, can I ask you who you learned your skills and lessons from because these are all old school teachings that sadly are now long forgotten as all the old school master teachers are either dead, dying out or long forgotten. It's an absolute pleasure and a secret delight to watch, listen and learn from you because you bring passion, insight, straight-shooting, practice and theory to your lessons. You don't realise how much we all look forward to your workshops and videos because they are priceless in these days of the shortcut, quick buck and do things because we do, instead of learning the reasoning behind practicing these fundamentals. Thank you very much for taking your time to explain and demonstrate to us. We absolutely appreciate what you are doing. You are keeping the old school alive and kicking. I wish you and all your family a very Happy, healthy and prosperous New Year and I hope you get your rewards you rule deserve.

I come from 2 boxing families Mom’s Dad (Grandfather) and my Dad’s brother (Uncle) where both boxers! My Uncle had a large collection of old boxing fights that I studied for hours at a young age. I started boxing when I was 6yrs old but career was halted because of injuries at 17. Started training boxers at 20 years old. I’m in my 29th yr of training boxers and I have been involved and around some of the greatest fighters and trainers. I still continue to learn daily so I can continue to bring you guys data based knowledge of the sport. Thank you for all the support! I really appreciate it. Please consider sharing the videos.

Thanks Tom for the great techniques , I tell guys to watch, but sometimes they don’t speak English and can’t understand, but I give them tips always giving credits to the master Tom

Amazing video coach! 1. The right biomechanics for the uppercut you explain is the same for the Manny Pacquiao's Manila Ice punch. In fact this punch is a mix of uppercut and long range hook punch. 2. In Tai Chi Chuan there is the very same concept: very small movements to punch, is called small frame. The instructions on this video are a prime example of the concept. It's amazing how different ways of fighting converge to the same concept! Thanks for share wisdom not only knowledge. Keep going your great job!

Would you advice this shoulder position for southpaw vs a righty? Seems like many top southpaw boxer-punchers like Pacquiao and Victor Ortiz have abit more square shoulder stance to snap out the cross out quicker and get more torque on the hook would love some pointers on this.

Respected coach! You have to see Conor Harris's: ACL patterns explained on YT. He talks about the NATURAL asymetric shape of the spine that causes either left / right side of the hip to sit elevetad. This result to one shouldert sitting higher than the other and this posterior chain affects neck and legs as well. I started using barefoot / minimalist shoes for optimal foot function, Even when I boxed.I fight from both sides and shift stances on the 2 sides. I was able to do so thanks to the information regarding ACL pattern and your knowledge. I need a master like u to put the pieces together. Iam convinced u are the most driven boxing coach on YT. Coach trust me when I tell u that I benefit more from every pendelum step, I can train multiple times a day, I never suffer from an uneseccairy athletic "Tear" injury. "Athletic" shoes with narrow toe box and toe spring will ruin your feet in the long run. I hope u reach back to me, this is woth investing your time in. World class boxing content right here! Keep'em coming

Quick question: my fighting style is more of a square stance/peekaboo (similar to Mike Tyson and Julio Cesar Chavez) where my shoulders are more or less on the same level and allows for me to Bob and weave on either side. The shoulder trajectory that you show in this video makes it hard for me to keep my square stance, only allowing me to Bob my head to my right. Is there a way around this?
