He was so flashy and fun to watch. I've been practicing the shoeshine since I first boxed cause I think it looks so cool. Done well it looks sort of like something out of an old Shaw Brothers Kung Fu movie. This stuff is pure gold, love how you break things down and explain details.

Can you please do a video on Jack Johnson’s boxing style. It is rare to find however many fighters will parry opponents jab with the cross arm but usually the stance isn’t as pronounced. I find it useful to switch it up. Some ppl look at me really strange when I switch it up on them with the old school right arm noticeably extended as to parry opponents jab so that you can continually focus on his cross 👍🏼

Coach, needless to say, your vids are phenomenal! Kindly requesting your input on a southpaw right handed fighter. It seems to work wonders in training: 1. The most important punch is on my stronger and natural hand the right 2. True I lose that big bomb of the right cross but the Front hook seems more than able to compensate for that, and in addition can be thrown even more frequently and is a more sneakier power punch 3. My mobility feels natural and faster, I can slip and bob and weave faster 4. It's easier to stay away from the right cross of most fighters (as most fighters are orthodox) just by jabbing in a circle counter clockwise while setting up also delivery of that front hook also for good measure. 5. I was, pleasantly, surprised that my left cross isn't as weak as I thought it would be so when I use your videos I just flip everything and practice fine. 6. I understand this may be shot down, but it seems some world class fighters took that route, to astonishing results, like Lomachenko, Sweet Pea, Hagler, de La Hoya to mention a few. I, humbly, request your views as to your take on this matter - right handed southpaw. Thanks in advance

Marvin hagler had been dominating the middleweight division but if you look at Marvin hagler's face he's the one with the cut Above his eye and the swollen eye socket sugar Ray Leonard have been off for 3 years that fight was fixed sugar Ray and got the best payday of his career as we all know the mob has been involved in boxing since day one not to say sugar Ray Leonard wasn't a great fighter which I believe he wasbut if you look at the sugar Ray Leonard Roberto Duran number three the only time of sugar a stop to exchange with Duran got an 80 stitch cut Above his left eye and a 30 stitch cut Above the other eye he walked into hands of stones right hand when they both threw counter right with that being said coach lots of love have a great day and in my opinion Roberto Duran was the greatest lightweight in boxing hands of stone

It seems like you're just giving someone time to counter you while you do minimum damage. Boxer train to be punched with haymakers to the stomach. So what's a shoe shine going to do?
