Thank you so much for this video. This really simplified a complex idea; it helped me stop overthinking my project scope and get down to the specifics of what the project objectives should be and the reason for the project in general. These four steps will work for creation of a scope statement no matter what the project purpose is!

So scope statement is basically a project objective?

@keitumetsetumi2677 yes, the scope statement defines all the elements of the project scope as well as assumptions, project requirements and acceptance criteria. The document serves as the primary tool for stakeholders and teammates to reference and use as a guideline to accurately measure project success.

All four sections: 1:30 - Project Info (Name & Justification) 3:28 - Scope Statement & Focus 6:01 - Supporting Details 8:52 - Key people TL;DRs Sect 1: Why are we doing this project? Sect 2: What is the summary of what you're trying to do? What are you delivering? What's in, what's out? Sect 3: Project timeline, deliverables and assumptions. Sect 4: Who has an effect in the project's production?
