How do you top something like that??? The answer is you don't!!!! Taemin is phenomenal, his art is simply mesmerising!!! I love everything about this video and this album is sensational as a whole! Taemin had a much more active role in directing, producing, and designing this album. He chose the other directors and worked closely with them. He just keeps getting better and better when he was already the best! Each comeback pushes the envelope just a little bit more. The rest of the album is fire too!

@@ChrisStillBeTalkin I don't know. All I really know is that he was able to choose the directors he wanted for this project and that he had a great deal of input. I assume they may have worked with SHINee and possibly his solo stuff before before because he apparently knew who he wanted. Have you listened to the entire album? It is awesome, and my favorite album so far -- and I've liked them all...lol.

@@ChrisStillBeTalkin The director for this MV was a production house called VM Project Architecture! They worked with him on Press Your Number in 2016 and also did the individual SuperM trailers last year (leading up to their debut). VM's stuff is crazy good, I seriously hope they keep working with him. The art director for the whole comeback is Jo Woocheol and she's worked on a lot of recent SM comebacks (eg. Irene&Seulgi's Monster).

His choices, his technique, the execution when he dances... It's just another level!

Taemin immediately became one of my fave artists just because of how he immerses himself into the roles of the mv's while managing to display hid vast understanding of multiple art forms. I have said it in the last that I get the same energy off of him as Prince in his prime while he's also able to absolutely destroy the choreographys! What an absolute Legend 😊😁

Taemin is just a beast , his music is just different every comeback

This song is a full package, isn't it? I love the dance, the back dancers are so in sync, it's incredible (even better seen on dancing practice videos), and the deceptive simplicity of the music line, with a ascending first chorus and smashing second chorus. Cheerful rhytm doesn't cover the fact that it's really a sad song (love it!). Maybe too overwhelming visuals to me, but I suppose it's the style. Overall - it's an addictive song. I would love to hear more about the dance, like breaking it down for small bites :) all the best, stay safe and well

I knew this video would have themes of captivity based on the "Innocent Mood Sampler" or whatever he teased. It showed Taemin in light neutral colors go into a room and sit down. He put his hands behind his back and put his head down, then waited, and the clip ended. We all see here from the lyrics, visuals, and choreo that its a song about captivity, and the subject is uncertain if their captivity is willing or not, and we don't really get an answer. I saw that someone else recognized the large sculpture in the MV with the red backup dancers. Its a reinterpretation of the four stages of captivity, also echoing the meaning of this song. If you wanna get 18+ abt it, you could argue that this is a song about BDSM dynamics, but I digress 🤫
