I bought an AWN412 in 2012 and it is the best washer I've ever owned. I recommend Speed Queen to anyone I know in the market for a new washing machine.

They should put a glass door on the dryer like the washer

The Tc5 is not rough on clothes if you use the Bulky cycle.

I have the TR3. It also has an extra rinse cycle. You can't beat a Speed Queen. The Whirlpool I replaced was constantly getting out of balance. A speed queen will outlast 2 or 3 of the other brands.

Thank you for this very informative video! We had a 21 y.o. Kenmore washer and Whirlpool dryer with no issues until last year. We got the TC5 Speed Queen washer last November and I love it! Now we're needing to replace the dryer. I'd like it to match the TC5 washer BUT would I be better off with the TR5? We're an older couple so it's just for the 2 of us. Thank you!

I purchased the front load wash model FF7005WN 3 months ago and had issues with the drum. Luckily GRAND’s Appliance best customer service took care of my issues and replaced it with a new unit! They don’t replace parts they replace the whole unit!

Go to this sales dude. We moved to the Denver area in 2016 and needed a washer and dryer. Due to a previous flood from a garbage Samsung washer I decided to get a Speed Queen set. So we go to Appliance Factory and Mattress Kingdom and I say to the sales kid I want to buy some Speed Queens. He didn't like that and tried to steer me to other brands like Samsung and LG. I said you can buy those, I'm buying Speed Queens. He grudgingly takes us over to the corner where they were hiding and we bought the analog models. They are still like new 8 years later.

Only thing I DON'T like on most dryers is the swing open door because if you drop something getting them out it hits the floor. I like a drop down door that way when I pull stuff out and something falls it stays up off the floor. Plus, I don't have to bend down as far if it falls. I don't understand why they insist on swing open doors.

Nobody talked about SQ years ago. Only a few. Now everyone wants to sell them because the public is sick of China and Other third world nations junk. I hate outsourcing and we should stop it. I own a commercial SQ set and it doesn’t break down. 4 years old now and washes and dries hot! Very hot.

Great video, thanks for making it. Yes, the TC5 is the best Speed Queen top loading washer: (1) the drum is fixed and the agitator moves, which provides a more aggressive wash and rinse cycle (SQ labels this “Classic Clean”) than every other Speed Queen washer where the agitator is fastened to the spin basket (SQ labels these “Perfect Wash”) (2) it has a Deep Fill option, so the tub actually fills with water to about 95% capacity (v. about 70% or less max for all three TR models) (3) it has a 15-year warranty on the transmission, and (4) it has a lifetime warranty on both the inner and outer drums. The one downside is the TC5 uses ONLY cold water for the RINSE cycle (i.e., you can't select warm water for the rinse cycle like you can on the TR7). One minor correction to your video: You mention that the TR models fill to the top. They do not. They fill to only about 70%. Only the TC5 model fills to the top (actually, about 95%), when you press the Deep Fill button. That is another reason the TR models are not as aggressive as the TC5 in cleaning clothes.

Washing machine front load door is too heavy and the door actually cracks by the hinges and will actually fall off. Gotta by a new door now.

DON'T BUY SPEED QUEEN!!! I had to replace four heating elements in 6 years... awful product!! Customer Service was rude as well!

Front load door is too heavy and just breaks off, starts with a nice big Crack. Also had drum problem. Front load washer is not a good choice.
