Jimbo, THANK YOU SOOOO SOOO MUCH for helping me. Just to let the community know, I didn't manage that my brush works correctly in all directions. My mistake was that I didn't start EXACTLY in the middle of the peppermints we placed on the canvas. It's a bit tricky to get it, but since I started exactly in the middle, it works perfectly! Perhaps this can help other who are struggling like me? Jimbo is a great teacher, once again, thanks to you! 🤩🤩🤩

I don’t know what I didn’t wrong, but when I tried the smudge part, it either only pulled have of the peppermint or just did nothing but make in blurry. This was a great tutorial though and the parts I did get I really liked.

Make sure the size of the blend brush is a little bit smaller than the peppermint and sample it right at the center. Try with a bigger pepperming and you’ll see! And go smaller when you get used to it. It’s a tricky option and hope procreate improves it at some point! Thanks for stopping by 😊😊😊

@@Kevdog1920 we got you! You have to tap on the layer and turn it off! Turning it off through adjustments isn’t enough if it’s been previously activated on a specific layer ☺️☺️

Followed 4 times 5 hours and repeat, but just get a washed out smudge or the thing just rolls around, I see others are having the same issue. Looks so cool too, mmm

Make sure the size of your smudge brush is the same big as the peppermint you are sampling! Make a big one to start with and remember to start right in the middle. If it doesn’t work please send me a video on instagram @jimbobernaus 😊😊

Hi Giulietta! Could you send me an image or video on instagram? You can find me at @jimbobernaus . It's probably because the size of the blend brush and the peppermint are different. Make sure sizes are the same!

I'm having issues getting the freebie for this. I've signed up but I'm not getting the welcoming email which I assume will be a temporary password as the one I make is getting an incorrect message.

Hi Jimbo, I love this but my pencil after following your instructions is not pulling the candy piece. I must be getting it wrong somehow but not sure what is stopping it working.

nowadays you can do it with pretty much any available software! The process is obviously different though!

I couldn’t get it to work. The smudge wouldn’t carry color everywhere. I guess I will try again.

I’m also sitting here since two hours and reading up in google… my smudge keeps getting transparent depending on the direction I smudge it. So frustrating 😢

Just make sure that the smudge brush size matches the peppermint you're sampling. Begin with a larger size, starting from the center (essential!!) If you encounter any issues, share a video on Instagram @jimbobernaus 😊😊.
