My name is William Mulligan AKA The Everyday Stoic, I applied Stoicism in my life and went from being anxious and feeling like a victim to becoming a confident and happy man. I am 1/3 of the Mulligan Brothers and my goal is to inspire change through teaching Stoicism to the everyday person.
I will give you an easy, practical guide to understanding Stoicism and how to use it in your life.
On this channel I answer the questions of "What is Stoicism?", "Who was Marcus Aurelius?", "How to be a stoic?" or "How to practice stoicism in daily life?" Check out my channel to learn how to be happier, stronger and more confident.
Two thousand years ago, the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius wrote his personal thoughts in a journal now known as the Meditations of Marcus Aurelius. Many of these Stoic principles have be learned from the Meditations but also from Epictetus, Seneca, Zeno and many more of the Ancient Stoic philosophers.
I get asked a lot what
1. Stoic books to read
2. if you can be religious and Stoic
3. can woman/girls be stoic
4. is stoicism bad
5. is stoicism toxic
6. can stoicism help anxiety or depression
1. Enchiridion of Epictetus, meditations of Marcus Aurelius, Seneca letters on ethics
2. You can be religious and Stoic
3. Woman/girls can be stoic
4. Stoicism is not bad. Vice alone is bad.
5. Stoicism understood correctly is not toxic
6. Stoicism can help depression and anxiety.

Doubt and the fear of failure hits me harder than procrastination. It leads into procrastination though.

If you never try, then you fail by default
Procrastination is my biggest enemy. Feel like I have this Negitive spirit following me and overwhelms me. I know im so talented and ive been doing music for almost 20years and very little progress. Most people listens to my music and try to figure up why im not further and I know its me. Just this Negitive voice in my head that distracts me kill my energy. Asking God to help me get over this. 🙏🏾

Will you have been a great example for others, and I want to congratulate you again on your expertise on the Stoics and all you are doing with your life. Frank Loyld Wright was an amazing architect. That is true, I’ve been there. Little steps daily will help you in more than one way. At least it did for me in the past.
Hi William :) I like how you said motivation pushes and desire pulls, I've never heard that. I've been thinking about driving forces bc my willpower is worn bare! Inspiration seems like my answer at this moment. Maybe inspiration is a pulling force like desire. But I feel like desire is a hunger, whereas inspiration feeds. Thanks for sharing food for thought. Have a lovely day :>
