Я пробовал делать из такого металла нож на стадии заточки бросил там металл никакой. PS металл пилы был лучше его резали на гильотине (промышленной) или шлифанём, так как на видео не отрежешь

For anyone wondering, the blades here would require higher chromium content to actually be stainless. These knives are definitely carbon steel.

When welding bandsaw blade you need to then heat it to a bright red in order for it not to break when it goes around. Thus the actual heat from the grind may serve more beneficial purpose than detrimental.

@@dimitrijekrstic7567it was heat treated. You can tell by the polymerized oxide layer formed in the quench, but it doesn’t matter. Those knives are gettin dull real quick!

​​@@ertelemis2741you don't know Jack they used old saw blades for the steal which is high carbon steal. And the fit and finish is actually very good. That knife if more than enough for a skilled butcher to cut meat all day!

Я, тоже из пильной ленты и ручек от резака наделал кучу хозяйственных ножиков и скиебков для гаража. Кстати очень неплохие получились ножик. Думал часто придётся точить. Ни фига. Недели на 2 хватает, работой сантехнике. Шкрябать и скоблить много приходится. Ленты навалам в металлоломе, рядом с верстаком

А что непонятно? Чем твёрже металл, тем легче он крошится. Если он рубит с алмазным напылением, то вполне может твёрдая сталь так крошится. Но просто рукой силы может не хватить.

🍴Я тут копом занимался- нашёл какой то неказистый нож грязный с ручкой из изоленты. Валялся долго на даче- тут решил почистить- и удивился - то оказался нож из советского напильника. Чем его обрабатывали до ножа- хрен его знает, но сталь опупенно твёрдая. Нож супер, короче! Ручку из самшита делаю ему ! 😁

@@vitalirefter-cs4hy в том то и дело... Не то что в этом видосе... Где сняли закалку и после обработки не закалили... А чтоб пластилиновое лезвие не гнулось ребро жесткости наклепали, в котором будут набиваться продукты... Думаю даже если руки растут ниже пояса, можно сделать лучше...

the steel of these sawblades is hard asf. These blades are made to cut the trees it it’s length, and stay sharp after hundreds of meters of tree cutting.

I got that one from over 17 years lol I got set of them gifted from father and all you need is to sharp them after time of use and believe me they are super sharp can cut finger from bone while doing something have to be careful alot

"Full tang" 😂 I'm joking, that looks better quality and more sharp than all the knives in my kitchen.

It is handcrafted but seems to have much higher quality than those produced by the industry.

Nobody is getting confused by IKEA furniture here. We are confused why anyone would pay a dime for this junk. Its virtually worthless, they aren't recycling or crafting anything. They're scamming people for a piece metal that wont cut worth a damn and will fall apart in your hands.
