Let me tell you something about Vince... When Vince came to Melbourne , Australia in 2002 to promote the Global Warning Tour, he did a quick press conference. About 20 of us mega fans waited outside the building for a chance to meet and greet Vince. When he walked out, he could have simply entered his limo. But no... Vince shook everyone's hand and took photos. He was in NO HURRY to leave. As I shook his hand, said: "thanks for entertaining us for so long". Vince said: "and thank you sir for your ongoing support". Vince is a true gentleman! 100% respect !!!!

This would end up being detrimental in all likelihood. Wwe and AEW could roll with it but all the other smaller companies and independents would tank because wrestlers would have to be in those unions and the small entities can’t afford that. And would guarantee basically two options to work period. Nice in theory but unrealistic.

Great line for a company that cares more about money than wrestling or the employees, or even the fans. Starting to really show these days. At this rate, Vonce will still be alive to watch his empire crumble. It's never been a creative ideal, it's been a talent relations and negotiations ideal. They get to hold it over your head and short change you, and when you try to stand up for yourself, they come back with "you were nothing before we made you" That's why wrestlers like Jon Moxley, CM Punk, Taz, and even Corey, etc. could walk away and shoot on WWE, because they already had a name, and couldnt be made to feel like they owed something to WWE.

I was never an Enzo fan, hell I was happy when Big Cass turned heel and went solo. But I will say Enzo’s heel run as the Cruiserweight champion was hilarious and entertaining as hell. Always loved how he sold when getting beat up…that blank stare and looking limp and ragged on the mat lol!!! Also, his feud with Rusev was good. That skit with him and Lana in the Hotel was good…. @@fluffyblayz9938 I mean, as Jesse said, Vince is all business. He didn't have an ace up his sleeve - not from Vince's perspective anyways. What he had was a backup plan if Vince told him to hit the road. Like I said, it's not like Vince had to worry about him running off to WCW. I also question how much NBC cared he wasn't around. I mean I wouldn't go so far as to say he is lying, but I don't take it at face value either. And... If Vince has half a second from firing him (which I believe under the circumstances), why would he be so concerned with re-signing him? Again, it's possible, he fired and pretty quickly rehired Shawn, but it again doesn't pass the smell test. But this is wrestling. Interviews almost always include lies. @@AnthonyClauser I believe his story about the NBC show. If I remember correctly it was either superstars or main event anyways Jesse was basically the face of that show along with Bobby Heenan so losing Jesse would be like the show Empire losing Terrence Howard their main star, ratings for the show could potentially drop because his appearance was integral to the shows success. So with Jesse being basically the star of the show NBC bought the rights to air on their Network he just co starred in a big blockbuster alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and slated to star in another movie with Arnie later that year I'm sure Vince felt pressured to appease the network for fear that they'd pull out of their TV deal so he HAD to work a deal out with Jesse
