Would love to see an additional video where you take what you have here, and add in some counter melodies, accent plucks etc to add some spice to the breakdown and later in the second half of a drop? I feel it's often the counter melodies that add that extra harmonic dissonance and emotion. As always, loved this vid!

Great vid man, ive been producing trance on and off for years now, switched genres and i’m now getting back in the swing of things with my new knowledge. This vid helps a lot with the fundamentals. Arp writing can be a tricky task!

I mean, not really a tool in the strictest sense when it's just as easy to create the base yourself, or using something like Stepic but I've learned a lot from watching your videos. So top stuff man! No idea how to make that sick trance filter though, auto filter works but it sounds naff.

Minor scales are used in majority of electronic music I believe. If you did major keys, it would sound super happy

There's no rules in music. A Minor is a simple yet powerful scale though

I just bought your Spire pack with MYR. It sounds good. I may buy more of your packs However, I try to change the cutoff and it feels like I tried every knob but it does not change. I want to change it like in the preview track. Which nob is is? Is it the leads that turns into plucks or the plucks that turns into leads. Thanks!

Try using the Modwheel, for most of the lead sounds, the cutoff is already mapped to MIDI CC1/The Modwheel :)

Yes, any melody you build from this pack is good for a commercial release. There aren't copyrights for the chord progressions themselves
