Great tutorial! One thing which would make it easier is if you would let us hear the separate element in its own. Otherwise I often have hard time understanding which element you're changing since there's a lot of going on in the mix.

Hey mate, fair enough. Thanks for your feedback.. I try to find balance between making it clear and understandable and also not too boring, haha. that's a big reason why I make the project files available to download. That way people can go in and understand it at their own pace.
I'm subscribed D

Finally got around to spending some time building drums following the video. Honestly THE BEST tutorial I've used for this. Helped me understand a lot of stuff I was struggling to figure out - which is simple enough when you know how. Cheers.
havent even gone through the intro and I already subscribed bc I can sense the professionally u put into your videos
the groove and feel of the track depends a lot on the bass pattern as well, so a dull bass will def result in a not so great beat ⚡
have followed your first tip to sign up
i love you
Can you make a video on gating vocals like gorgon city’s new track sidewindah or Joshua’s you’ve got the love
Lol, you made it to 10 k
The rack you use on the sample is it a Abelton rack ore you made it ?
@dilbydj
2 ай бұрын
It's an Ableton Simpler device inside an instrument rack with useful controls mapped.
Your tutorial files, are they saved as Ableton Live 10 or Live 11? I'm interested in your patreon but I'm only on 10 for now. Cheers and thanks for the videos.

L11 for any video where I'm using 11 (since around Feb this year). There's no way to save them backwards compatible as far as I know.
FYI the video link @23:12 is for the 26 second clip directing people to this video :)

Cheers for the heads up. I actually had it set so that KZread selects it based on the viewers watch habits but I tested it with different accounts and different computers and every time it was that 26 sec video. Good work KZread, lol!
i could do with a new drum sample pack, i just one a high quality one that isnt just drums taken from released music and filtered. Its crazy these are even for sale when anyone could do this. Any recommendations ?

You always talk about loops with like a hint of shame or something haha. I think people are a lot more open minded about it now.
You honestly think this is something special? It's just a generic 909 4-to-floor pattern. Very subtle variations but what is the point?
@TechnoNates

The point is to have subtle variations of classic beats. Duh?
