Yes, he knows what he's talking about because he's actually doing it! Too many people talk about stuff without producing finished music. I like your tracks, Dilby! 👍
Only now discovering Dilby. You seem to be an excellent educator and talented musician. Really enjoying the content and now also your music on Spotify. Keep up the good work.

hello, wondering how i use your sample pack like you do here in the video? i.e for bass, in Ableton, not Kontact, etc.
@dilbydj
Жыл бұрын
Drag the one shots into a simpler or sampler.
Great video as always! How do you enable the option to keep the envelopes like they are when changing samples in the Sampler? If I replace the sample, the envelopes change as well

If you use the hotswap it should just change out the sample and keep everything as it is. Unless there is something in preferences.
👏👏👏👏🙏🎼
If you had to only purchase 1 plug in for all sounds what would you go for?

Why do you need hardware to write a bassline?
@RenevolutionAccount
Жыл бұрын
@@dilbydj He means what bass sound that is. (TB303 or whatever) ??
This is the same concept as hundreds of tutorials. Make a simple bassline. Copy/paste it several times. Transpose it. Make some little changes. Claude Von Stroke has a 10-year-old Point Blank tutorial which covers all this - and does it in the context of tracks which were actually successful. It's been covered sooooooo much, and in 2023 it would probably be more helpful to talk about how people get it wrong, because it's definitely a technique which is grossly overused in boring commodity house/techno tracks.

Nice tips! The quality of your samples and track is very good. But you could use a noise gate on your mic. It’s quite distracting when listening on headphones. Other than that keep up the amazing work ❤

Thanks for the tip! I really struggle to get clean and loud audio. I have invested quite a bit in the lapel mic but it's still difficult to get right.
