"A Dialogue on Early American Military Life"... truly ahead of its time - this 1977 MPT / PBS TV-Special used Living History as a background to talk about the life of the Continental Army Soldier during the American Revolution - shot at the beginning of the bicentennial.
This is the best version I could find - but the information contained in excellent. Please check out something we produced that is along similar lines (and we never knew this film existed until recently!):

This film was made by Maryland Public TV in 1977 with the Corps of the Continental Line, The First Maryland Regiment (The Official Bicentennial Unit of the State of Maryland) under William Brown III, The Second Pennsylvania Regiment under J. Craig Nannos, and The Ninth Virginia Regiment under Floyd Bauman. It was filmed at “Soldier’s Delight” north of Baltimore. I was in the 1MR ( First Maryland Regiment) then and took part in the filming. We were all very proud to make it, the earliest totally correct film about the Continental Army of the United States. Burton Kummerow, the bearded fellow instructing the narrator Lary Lehman, worked for MPT then and was instrumental in getting this film made, and made sure it was historically correct.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Coming right after the Bicentennial, this is pretty good. Only thing is I guess safety wasn't that big of a concern or you wouldn't have seen the 5 or 6 ramrods going downrange. Ooops!!
