Step inside a recent Hope Event at North Carolina Correctional Institution for Women, hosted by Prison Fellowship in partnership with Elevation Church.
The church inside and out came together to praise God with Elevation’s worship team and hear words of encouragement from the church’s pastoral staff.
Many in prison have never heard the redemptive Good News of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. That’s why Prison Fellowship partnered with Elevation Church, to share what Easter is all about with incarcerated men and women in person and through Floodlight, Prison Fellowship’s in-prison streaming platform.
As Prison Fellowship's President and CEO, Heather Rice-Minus, noted, “There may be some there who have never heard [the Gospel] message or made a decision to follow Jesus. They’ll get the chance to do that today and hear the hope of the Gospel, the hope of the resurrection through Christ.”
