This is such a poignant message. I needed to hear this. I am listening a week later just to let it sink in deeper. This message is a personal blessing to me… and has challenged and corrected me with some of my own insecurities I have been struggling with (in church leadership) - as I realized I was making it about me. Also, I am so pleasantly surprised to hear such a powerful rebuke/correction to the church at large from this particular pulpit. Motivation and encouragement is necessary, and so is a prophetic correction - this is what God’s chastening looks like. It is loving, and precise. If you heed correction, it ultimately leads to spiritual health, healing, and maturity. Hallelujah! Thank You Lord!!!

Eddie Jiminez, but her whole sermon was one of a calling to repentance from the pride of self and of worship of self to embrace the holiness and grace of Jesus Christ.

Humility - the key to intimacy with God. Rick Warren: "Not thinking less of yourself but thinking of yourself less" be preoccupied with Jesus. Aka be consumed enamored with Jesus. More focused on Jesus than yourself. Humility is necessary for worship. AW Tozaer "It takes humility to worship God acceptably." 🙏🏽 Humility leads to divine glory.

This woman is a preacher's preacher. Her sermons are so on point and the anointing on her preaching is so evident!

It's almost as if God knows that each time I go through a difficult season or transition, Lisa Harper preaches at Elevation Church. Literally for the past 3 years, I've typed in Elevation church on KZread in my depression and pain and her sermon has just been posted.

The story about the life verse got me straight in my heart....It was a mistake that Lisa made but It was God's intentional message passed across through Lisa's mistake to His little girl! What a Special, Good, Good Father He is.....I am moved!!! Thank You Yahweh for being so intentional and intimate with Us. We love You for loving Us this way, this much, Always! I have watched that sermon by Lisa Harper so many times that it is almost memorized. When she speaks about humility and entitlement, it grips my heart and I love it. Her different church stories are the best.

It is amazing to see how God uses the unique person that Lisa is to deliver his word and reach us all. She is a great blessing!

Lisa, thank you for sharing what God put on your heart, ignoring the lies of the enemy. I'm sure he whispers in your ear as he has mine. The Lord used you to remind me that even in our mistakes, He can use it for His glory. Thank you for sharing.

OMG!!! I love her. I so needed to hear this . I'm a 58 yo worship "dancer". Her story was hilarious and relatable. And the message of humility is so needed.

I receive everything this woman of God spoke! She's such a treasure to the body of Christ!!

I love Lisa! Her podcast Back Porch Theology, is wonderful - thought provoking, informative, and chock-a-block full of usable wisdom!

My husband and I have been talking for a week about pride…I in particular have been releasing some areas of pride that I didn’t even know were pride. The result has been precious intimacy with Jesus & the body of Christ that has been missing for years. I had no clue. Once again God used this ministry to confirm what He has been saying to me. Thank you! And thank you Jesus.
