I think one of the biggest selling points about this is that Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure on the PS1 sells for around $150-$200 for those looking to collect. I'm just really glad that it was rereleased on the Switch allowing for more access to the game.

Love these games a lot. Still have my original playstation Rhapsody and ps2 La Pucelle

Im hoping this one sells well enough that NIS will at least consideer localizing the Rhaspody sequels. I find Rhaspody a short, but a comfort RPG. Its fun to put in when you dont feel like putting 200+ hours into a big one like Xenoblade Chronicles.

@@NoisyPixelNews i wouldnt say its completly impossible, i mean the evidencs of a game we never got getting translated is here: its the other one of the collection. Unless you are saying they stole that one's fan translation?

Rhapsody is also better then Xenoblade Chronicles.

I had this one preordered since it was announced. I adored Rhapsody on the DS, and I was hyped to finally play La Pucelle

La pucelle was probably the game that made me fall in love with games as a kid. I thought I'd never get to play it again so tears flowed when I saw this release

Skipped Rhapsody back when I could get it below retail on the original Playstation; I always wanted to play it but just waited. Then it sky rocketed in price! I'm so glad to get this now for a reasonable price and I'm ready to drop pancakes on my enemies!

i always wanted to play la pucelle when i noticed that one of my favorite characters in disgaea 1 was the main character. prier was a demon lord in disgea, but human in la pucelle. so, it made me more curious about what was her background story.

I heard there was a game breaking bug in La Pucelle on this release, in chapter 9 I think it was. Does anyone know if that has been fixed? I ordered the physical copy so just curious.

Can i recruit human characters in la pucelle or is it just monsters?

that happens via story progression, but they won't stay for every chapter. The exceptions are the Secret Island characters. You need to defeat a level 100 Hero Prinny and Rozalin to recruit them, but Eri and Cornet will join you without a fight. Given Cornet starts at level 20, she can be a panic button up until you fight the Chapter 7 boss.

Basically, make a square around the enemy using the nodes.

@@chariothe9013 You can also use enemies to face the wave in different directions, but they will move on their turn, so only do that if you're able to commit to it on that turn.

I don't think I've ever seen a bad review from you guys or like a super duper low score

@@penguin422613 Yeah,when it is mediocre which is not the case of this collection. You get an untranslated masterpiece ( La Pucelle Ragnarok) and the first rerelease of a unique srpg ( ds version was a reimagining ) . I d say 7 is actually pretty low and down to earth.

I was living as a male when I got Rhapsody to play here in the USA and my tomboy female friends ended up playing it too. Now I am living as a female I was always in my mind. I still love to play and have both copies of Rhapsody on the PS1 I played first and I like it best and then got the DS version when it came out. The PS1 Rhapsody has a Music CD I love that came with it. The DS has better graphics and fewer extras in it. The gameplay is not as good on the DS. I am happy they stuck with the PS1 version for this. At the time Rhapsody came out there were very few made for female JRPGs and very few females that played JRPGs at all back then. Though many males I knew enjoyed playing it too. After that in the PS2 days that changed greatly. I think Rhapsody had a lot to do with that because a lot of males bought this game took it home and their girlfriends ended up playing it. And then many females got them their own PS2 when it came out. That is why I think the PS2 sold so well as both genders were buying it for the JRPGs. La Pucelle is even better of a game. I have it on my PS2 and PSP. Though I love Rhapsody more.
