Princess Isabelle Director's Commentary: Seven years after premiere, Boatman revisits masterpiece
A few years after the world premiere of Princess Isabelle at the 1999 Worldfest International Film Festival, I finally sat down and recorded the director's commentary. I reached back into my memory to recount funny stories, challenges we overcame, moments of serendipity and synchronicity, flashes of inspiration, and just plain dumb luck. Even after twenty years, Princess Isabelle remains the best -- and maybe the only -- feature-length accordion movie ever made!

Loved watching this. Cool to hear she learned her lines by pre recording everything and listened to it in the car. Really cool you did this commentary. Love seeing this again.
